Bienvenue au Benihana, vous y vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Assis à une table commune, vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous livrera ses astuces sur l'art ancien du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Vous en aurez plein la vue! Il vous restera à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des savoureux mets proposés (bœuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.) et vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous délecter de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Situé au cœur de la vallée de San Fernando, le Benihana Encino a été le lieu de nombreuses productions télévisuelles et cinématographiques, notamment The Office, 40 ans et encore puceau et bien d'autres. Ce restaurant est un favori local de plusieurs célébrités : on ne sait jamais qui pourrait être assis au gril teppanyaki à vos côtés. We were sat an hour later than our reservation time. Do not plan anything for afterwards bc you maybe late.

They were running behind, but when we checked in they didn’t say they were running behind - just “we’ll call you when the tables ready”. 15 minutes went by, nothing, 30 min, I went back to the check in. They said they were running 45 minutes behind! I said if you had told me that when I checked in, I could have decided if my kids and I wanted to wait, now we’ve put in a lot of time. The concierge said they’d bring us a California roll on the house to help keep our kids ok. By 7:52 (our reservation was at 7!!!) they brought us to a table. They never sent the California roll. Nothing was comped on the bill. No discount, no apology. The grill was too hot and all the food was charred and tasted burnt. The waiter was nice but the whole thing was so bad. Don’t come to the Encino location. It’s awful!

Benihana Encino was amazing! From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive and welcoming. The chef put on an impressive show and cooked our food to absolute perfection – everything was seasoned beautifully, fresh, and piping hot. We loved every bite, from the perfectly cooked steak to the fried rice and flavorful veggies. The check was also surprisingly reasonable, considering the quality and experience. It was such a fun and memorable meal, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic dinner with a little extra flair!

Food is tasty, and the show is nice. The sitting is very tightly with strangers, the restaurant squeezes 7 people into tables for 6. Tables are very close to each other and chef's food carts cannot move in between unless customers move their chairs in and out. Price is average to the concept.
