Bienvenue au Benihana, vous y vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Assis à une table commune, vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous livrera ses astuces sur l'art ancien du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Vous en aurez plein la vue! Il vous restera à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des savoureux mets proposés (bœuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.) et vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous délecter de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Situé au cœur de la vallée de San Fernando, le Benihana Encino a été le lieu de nombreuses productions télévisuelles et cinématographiques, notamment The Office, 40 ans et encore puceau et bien d'autres. Service was ok. Chef was terrible. Lotsa mistakes. Overcooked and heavy handed with butter and gave wrong food to people. Will never go back to this location again. It was a ruined bday and wish we had asked for our money back. Terrible.

You finally got hostesses who smile, who are friendly and clean the bathrooms! Only problem they forgot to turn on our grill so our dinner was delayed. But the waiter was kind enough to bring us some edamame to tied us over. The kid at our table had a complete meltdown, maybe you should try to seat accordingly, if that’s possible. Otherwise it was a fun birthday celebration. Food was delicious as always.

Wow, the price of main dish has gone up wildly since last time I dine out in June. The hibachi steak and fillet minion were around $27 and $33ish each this summer but now it is $40 and $43! The bowl of chicken fried rice was $4.50ish , now it is 7.50 as well. We went out for a family dinner of 4 including kids, but ended up paying so much more than before.. Our server was nice and conscientious, but at this price point, I don’t think I will ever go back again. I think the business has gone a bit too greedy, no wonder there was no wait and a lot of empty tables that night.

Our waiter was great! We’ve been to Benihanas before in Puente Hills and Downey. This was the best service we have gotten. Our chef was great too and the food is always good.

The place was so jam packed on a Tuesday night. It was pure chaos and hard to enjoy the meal.

The food was not up to my expectations. I’ve been to this location before and I do feel that some cooks have a different level of experience and that makes a huge difference on my rating. The show is supposed to be great and grand, but it was not this time and the food did not have the delicious taste that I’m used to so it was quite disappointing. For me you’re paying for a grand show and food so that was my expectation slightly letdown.

Don't take reservations if you are not going to honor them. They clearly over-book (they always show reservation availability even if they already have reservations for those times), telling you it will just be a "short time" before they can seat you. Then you waste an hour waiting, and then only stick around because you've already sunk so much time into it, and end up hate-eating your food (which was fine, not outstanding but it was good). Had dinner reservations for 8 pm, not seated until 8:55pm, didn't get a single bite to eat until nearly 9:15 pm, and was finally able to pay the check just after 10:30 pm. Ridiculous. Not the fault of the staff, who were mostly friendly, this seems to be a conscious decision by management in order to keep the place beyond full. But in doing so they guaranty at least some people won't ever come back - I certainly won't be.
