    Our “chef”, and I use that word very loosely, was horrible. He made so many mistakes and tried to talk personally with other people he was cooking for and couldn’t concentrate on what he was doing. He tried giving someone shrimp who repeatedly said he was allergic, gave me chicken instead of vegetable, didn’t give one of my daughters any veggies and failed horribly at all the tricks as a hibachi chef. Even other chefs behind us watched him and clowned him for failing so badly. My husband tipped him only because he felt so sorry for this man in hopes he will buy more tools so they dont break as he cooks

    Waitress was awesome and attentive. Very busy but she kept checking in on us and making sure our needs was met. Food was delicious and experience was great.

    Everyone at the table was very surprised how rude the waitress was. No smile or anything friendly about her. It was like being bullied at the same time. Rafael the cook was awesome, and the food was delicious. We were happy to have him as a cook as we watched another cook by us struggle with the food he was cooking and had to start over with the chicken rice. We were praying we did not get him. We waited over 30 minutes for our drinks, and over 45 minutes before the food got started. Our reservations were for 4 and we went back at 4:15 and the cook came out around 5:10. The prices were VERY HIGH and ridiculous. We came from Lansing, MI and we have a Hibachi please that the filet mignon went up to 26.00 from 23.00. The prices you have on the menu, we will not be returning. $38.00 for a little steak which was cooked amazingly, but the service was not great at all. The cook was very entertaining and took care of everyone's needs. Please train your staff in good customer service, smiling, being more friendly and checking to see if anyone needs anything during the visit. One guy at the table waited an hour for his drink and no apologizes for forgetting it. That's how long we had seen the waitress and our table. REAL MEAN PERSON NO PERSONALITY WHATSOEVER. It just looked like a bunch of confusion in the restaurant that was full. NO, I will not recommend Benihana at this time. This was the worst experience of all times. Thank you.

    Reservations was for 4:00 and are complete table was there at 3:50 did not get seated until 4:40. Took a long time to get drinks and food. Waitress fell on her butt and staff laughed at her. Food was good. Food preparation show is good. Mediocre service and not Timely in any means.

    1. The waitress was slow 2. The restaurant was out of Miller light on tap 3. The cook was terrible. He put shrimp on the plate of customers plate the was allergic to seafood. And he did not apologize. My wife told him to give her mushrooms to me and he gave them to another customer instead of me. He only gave me the scraps at the end. In order for us to get some garlic butter and teriyaki sauce we had to ask for it. The cook gave several of us at the table the feeling that he did not want to be there. 4. No one was offered dessert at our table, even though it was part of what we paid for. My wife and I had to ask for our bowl of ice cream. We received our ice cream as everyone else was walking out from our table. This was very embarrassing to be left alone at the table to eat our ice cream. 5. We have been going to this Benihana's restaurant for the last 8 years. To Celebrate my wife's birthday and our anniversary. We will not be recommended this particular Benihana's restaurant. Not until we start to see improvements at this particular Benihana's restaurant.

    The waiter who took are order had a nasty attitude. And then the chef came with NO excitement NO character about his self he was just there NO type of entertainment with the table they didn't sing Happy birthday to me Like my reservation had overall it sucked will never come back to the Dearborn location again.
