Even after we showed up on time, we still needed to wait for another 35 minutes. Our server barely showed up and did not take away the soup/salad bowls promptly so we all needed to squeeze in to eat on a already crowded table. We already notified the server that it was my sister’s birthday but the ice cream with candle was given to another girl on the same table who did not go there to celebrate birthday. No water refilled during meal unless we asked. Benihana used to have high standards in providing a good time for the customers with satisfaction. I don’t think I’ll come back any time soon because of disappointment.

A bit disappointing compared to previous visits. The chef was a bit slow and unsure, the fried rice was a bit too al dente, the lobster tail in my combo was smaller than usual, and the quality of the mushrooms was only moderate, especially compared to the table across from us.

I normally sit at the dinning area. This time I tried the bar. The soup was warm, not hot. Food was cold. The chicken and beef were over cooked. The vegetables were not even the same. Horrible experience for the amount spent.

It is our first time to dined in this restaurant. The placed was packed, everybody was busy. Our waiter comes and goes in a second. We ordered 6-course meal. We didn’t get steamed rice and tea as part of this order. Is this part of business strategy? Isn’t it that it should be automatic that the waitter will serve those items as part of the course meal we ordered? Our chef was nice and entertaining, but our waiter was sarcastic and asked question offensively. My husband and I celebrated our 16 yrs wedding anniversary. Our waiter greeted us Happy anniversary with a follow-up question, how old is your daughter 15? What is that supposed to mean? We were seated with people we don’t know, so please don’t asked unnecessary question. For those who wants to eat here, come experience it yourself. Maybe our dining experienced will be different from yours!
