Installé autour d'une table commune, vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous livrera ses astuces sur l'art ancien du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Vous en aurez plein la vue ! Il vous restera à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des savoureux mets proposés (bœuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.) et vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous délecter de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Situé dans le Lifestyle Center du Polaris Fashion Place, Benihana Columbus est l'endroit idéal pour un repas avant ou après le magasinage. It was my boyfriend’s birthday. The food was seasoned well, however our drinks were watered down from waiting for them to be bought over from the bar and it was somewhat rude of the chef to ask several times for a tip when he was done. According to the family we sat with who frequent this establishment, this particular chef does this everytime he finishes which can be offputting. Overall 2 meals and 2 drinks was not worth $132. My boyfriend is allergic to onions which we were not aware was in the fried rice so for his birthday dinner he only ended up having a spatula size amount of the grilled chicken prepared. Thankfully the manager understood and took off about $30. That was the best customer service we received from the whole dining experience.

Other than being seating with some very loud people, we loved it!! Our chef Olivia was amazing!

They were an hour behind on our reservation, no apologies or accommodations and honestly very cold about the whole situation. Finally got seated an hour later and the restaurant was almost empty. Our chef didn’t greet us for another hour so we just left money on the table for our drinks and apps and left the restaurant.

We had what we thought would be shrimp hibachi and steak hibachi. The shrimp was not served with veggies and to upgrade from steamed rice to fried it was an additional $7.50. The portion of steak and veggies were extremely small portions for the price of the meal. With that being said, the food was phenomenal. We sat at the bar and the bartender/server Freddy was a great guy and fun to watch making drinks. He made up for the small portions/high price!

The hibachi was tasty. Highly recommend the Wagyu beef selections - it’s a bit more pricey but the taste is well worth it. Don’t forget to check to make sure it comes with the lobster tail. My chef forgot about it so my wife and I ended up getting $20 off each.

I made my reservation at 9:30pm and they left me waiting for my table for more than 1 hour and 30 minutes, so that after they gave me my table I had to wait almost 1 more hour for them to start cooking.

This was by far my worst experience at Benihana . The establishment decided to put revenue over the customer experience. On Valentine’s Day there was a one hour plus wait even with reservations. Ridiculous and absurd. The patrons, including my family were all mashed into the small waiting area for over an hour. We were not seated until 9: 10 p.m. even though our reservations were for 8pm. Our first course was not served until 9:48 p.m. And the cook did not finish cooking until 11:00p.m. I will shout out Darren our cook who was very personable. However, as he knew we no longer cared about the tricks and entertainment that Benihana is known for as the whole table just wanted to eat. Do better Benihana! And to the customer I would not recommend that you go to the restaurant on Valentine’s Day or any other holiday as you will likely be disappointed!

Valentines was PACKED and I assume why it was an hour past actual reservation that we were sat , however the food came out fast and the food was amazing. Definitely pricey but the food is worth it and I would definitely go back just not on Valentine’s Day :)

Horrible experience! Had a reservation and still had to wait 1 hour! Then we had the absolute worst chef. He took so long to cook our food. I was so dissatisfied!!!
