Situé dans le Lifestyle Center du Polaris Fashion Place, Benihana Columbus est l'endroit idéal pour un repas avant ou après le magasinage. Profitez de l'art ancien du teppanyaki exécuté par votre chef personnel à l'une des 18 tables teppanyaki. Vous recherchez une expérience plus intime ? Great food and great server and chef. Was not impressed that we had a reservation at 7:15 and were seated by 7:45 and finally left restaurant at 9:45. Not sure if I will be going back anytime soon.

This was a horrible experience! I made a reservation for a party of 8 at 6:45 they did not get sat till 8:15 they told us they were running behind then when I called to see what happened they tried to tell me that the whole party was not there, wich was a lie! These kids are seniors in highschool they were late to the dance and it was completely unacceptable!

My son and his homecoming date came last night- their reservation was at 6:45 was not sat until 7:30 and by 8:15 they had no chef. I told them to leave the restaurant since now they were already 30min for the dance. They were looking for a fun event night at your restaurant and were greatly disappointed and having to grab a cheeseburger from the drive thru on the way to the dance- this was absolutely ridiculous and no one came to speak to them or let them know the status.

I want to start with the positives. Austin our chef was excellent. He was kind and interacted with the kids and made the experience fun. The server is always kind too and does his best being short staffed. I don’t remember his name. Management took take of a request which we appreciated. Now for the negatives. This is a constant issue at Benihana when we are sitting at our table or waiting in the lobby for an hour before we get served any food or drink. Yesterday was no different. For our 6pm reservation, we got seated almost right away. Some of us got our drinks at 7pm and our dinner experience didn’t start till 7:15ish. (We waited an extra 10 mins for Austin and that part was no issue). We still would have started at 7pm ish which is still late to get a salad. We got done at 8:30pm. Also, 5/10 of us ordered the chicken yakisoba dish. When it looked different, I was told the yakisoba sauce wasn’t shipped and it was suppose to arrive today. Why weren’t we told??? Noodles tasted fine but we didn’t get what we ordered and everyone knows how expensive this dinner is. Management - Please don’t open up reservations when you don’t have enough chefs/servers. It really ruins the experience.

We got to our table right away, so the hostess was good. Chef was good -he did a nice job and was pleasant. Our dinners were good. We enjoyed our meals. Our waiter was the issue. He was slow and non-responsive. He had to be reminded several times about our requests for drinks and water. He totally forgot to bring one of the sides dishes. When reminded he never apologized, but quickly said he would wrap it up the forgotten side for us to take home (yea -a cold side dish in styrofoam to take home!). The restaurant wasn’t busy so not sure why I our waiter was MIA? The overall experience should be rated 4.5 stars, but for the poor waiter experience which dropped the rating to a 3 stars.

The chef was pretty funny! I only go once a year since it is so expensive but I love the food.

Sadly it was not a positive experience. Food was passable, all other metrics were sub par. Will not return.
