Installé autour d'une table commune, vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous livrera ses astuces sur l'art ancien du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Vous en aurez plein la vue ! Il vous restera à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des savoureux mets proposés (bœuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.) et vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous délecter de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Situé dans le Lifestyle Center du Polaris Fashion Place, Benihana Columbus est l'endroit idéal pour un repas avant ou après le magasinage. Profitez de l'art ancien du teppanyaki exécuté par votre chef personnel à l'une des 18 tables teppanyaki. Vous recherchez une expérience plus intime ? Here’s a thought…don’t accept more reservations than you can handle. Our reservation was for 4:00. We were finally seated at 5:20. The atmosphere was pretty much chaos. I only wish that I had known this ahead of time. I certainly would not have chosen this restaurant. Save yourself some grief and aggravation and go someplace else.

Had accepted too many reservations . Needed to limit reservations so ther was no 30 to 45 minute wait

Waited for 45 minutes past our reservation time just to be told we could not order a family meal in the restaurant, which is what we had budgeted for. Told us we had to order online. Found out our $200 gift card we'd purchased for our meal couldn't be used for online orders. Then, online ordering was turned off before we could enter alternative payment. This was supposed to be our Christmas dinner.

We have a reservation in which they were running behind, didn’t get seated until and hour after. After being seated for almost another hour a server came over and asked if had been helped. The chef was entertaining but the other service was terrible.

We were there on Christmas Eve so… super busy, incredibly hard working staff. Even though we had reservations, we were seated approximately 45 minutes after reservation time, and took probably 10-15 minutes before being waited on at table. Food was as expected but pricey.

It was Christmas Eve so super busy, naturally. They were about 20-30 minutes behind on reservations and seemed a bit understaffed- long wait for drinks, chef, etc. All of that is understandable and the chef was great and food tasty. My low rating was ambiance. 9 people were shoved at a small table likely only meant for 7 people, in a cramped corner: we were a party of 3, there was a couple, and a party of 4 very tightly squeezed with barely room for our plates. It was awkward being in such tight quarters with strangers. I also feel the value didn’t match those of competitors. Portions were much smaller and price higher. We didn’t have any leftovers which is rare for hibachi. Overall, grateful for the friendly staff working hard on Christmas Eve but we will dine at HOJ or Tanuki in the future.

Probably not the spot to be at on Christmas Eve. Loud and very very busy! Kinda stressful. Good food and fun chefs

We were seated 40 mins. after our reservation time. It then took the waitress a half an hour to come to our table. Once our order was taken, it was another half to get drinks, another half our to get sold/soup and another half hour to get a chef. I know they were busy...but maybe next time don't over book your reservations. It was annoying and not fun and the food was not good.

It was weird that the cook repeatedly told our table that he isn’t being paid by the company due to changes is how checks are issued. It was incredibly loud and the price is not worth the poor experience and ok food.

Service was good. Food was incredibly salty- our cook went overboard on salt, then butter and then soy sauce. Unfortunately it was so awful that I could not finish my dish because it was horrible.
