Bienvenue au Benihana: une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Ici, les clients sont tous rassemblés autour de la même table pour un moment de convivialité. Le chef expose son savoir-faire et livre ses astuces! Vous en aurez plein la vue! L’art ancien japonais du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante) n’aura plus de secrets pour vous. Il vous restera à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des mets proposés (boeuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.). Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Le Benihana de Cleveland est situé juste après le Pavilion Mall, un kilomètre et demi à l'ouest de l'autoroute 271, en face des appartements Vue. Prenez l'ascenseur jusqu'au niveau inférieur de l'immeuble à bureaux et entrez dans la salle à manger. Venez pour le dîner ou pour un souper pareil à nul autre. S'il vous plaît garder à l'esprit que le restaurant est fermé entre le dîner et le souper, c'est-à-dire de 14h30 à 17h, du lundi au jeudi. Il rouvre à 17h pour le souper et le «happy hour».     We came out to Benihana to celebrate my birthday tonight. It was the single worst hibachi experience I've ever had and I've been to a lot of hibachi. Not only was the staff rude and inattentive, they were more concerned with getting a tip than actually doing anything worth a tip. Our "chef" didn't do a single trick outside of a really poorly done volcano. Like literally nothing, he didn't even give us yum yum sauce. The other party of 4 actually got up and left it was so bad. Then at the end before he walked away, actually looked at us and said hey we don't split tips here so if you want to tip me, you need to do it now. Our waitress was so bad that she never even asked for our drink orders and when we finally did get drinks, she never refilled them, even after asking multiple times. One person in our party got sushi as a dinner and they didn't get it until we were already halfway done eating our hibachi. She forgot to bring us our soup and salad until the chef was basically done cooking our food. She hovered over us when it came time to tip and we had to ask her to back up it was so invasive. She never asked us if we wanted dessert, just brought the bill, but never applied my birthday coupon. When asked about it, she admitted she had thrown it away. And then there was the actual restaurant. The carpeting is so sticky that you actually stick to the floor as you are walking. It's gross. I used to love coming here but it has gone so down hill that I can't rationalize spending the money to come to this location when there are plenty of other nicer and cheaper options elsewhere. So highly disappointing. Oh and because they took so long and kept disappearing for chunks at a time, this horrible dining experience took a total of 3 HOURS!

    Service was very slow and quite often none. Was there for a birthday celebration which never got celebrated. They didn’t follow through on anything that they promised my son, was very disappointed. Food was very overpriced which is sometimes ok if you get great service and experience, this was neither.

    It was a very difficult experience. Only two chefs for multiple tables. Place was filthy. Ron cooked great meals for ten of us. No singing happy birthday and we were celebrating twins 65th birthday. As twins we were invited to their grand opening more than 20 years ago. Knew all the chefs from Albert to Brick. Didn’t honor our 120.00 coupon. I don’t see this place open for long. Avoid if you can. Ps…. I never write bad reviews….never

    During our visit, we were seated right away with 6 other guests. We had awesome service and our cook was very professional and cooked our food to perfection. Our server constantly check on us, but wasn’t overbearing and our cook accommodated all parties while providing a fun atmosphere. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend others to have the same enjoyable experience.

    The food was good I had twin lobster tails and were cooked just right. The price has gone up….what else is new. The yum yum sauce was delicious as always the best of any restaurant in my opinion. Will return!
