I think the bar/Seating area in the back can use a bit of an update. There was a large group of us and would've been nice to sit together while our table was ready. Food was delicious. Chef was great.

Ruben our chef was amazing!! I can’t say enough good things about the way he presented our food. We have going to Benihana’s for many years. We noticed a change in what for so many years was their signature style in presentation and quality. Their back!! Best everything. Ask for Chef Ruben. You won’t be disappointed

We made Saturday night reservations for 7:15p. The available times were wide open, and it didn't seem like it would be that busy. When we arrived at 7:15p, the place was a madhouse- 20+ people milling around the small entry. We checked in, were told there would be a wait. I asked for a time estimate, and the hostess had no idea. We then waited for 45min before being seated at 8:00p. It took another 15 min before soup was served. This is completely unacceptable. A planned nice night out turned into a teeth-gritting, hangry wait, that ruined the first half-hour of actually sitting at the table. There was no apparent reason, either, other than bad time management by the restaurant. A host said at one point that "the show lasts about 90 min and that people were staying at their tables too long." We sat down at 8:00p and stood up to leave at 10:00p- no hanging out, no wasted time by anyone, so I suspect that the restaurant just doesn't plan well. That said... once we calmed down and had food in front of us, our chef Michael turned out to be excellent and produced one of the best eating-out experiences we've had in the last few years. He was attentive, paid attention, and kept the table engaged without being flashy or theatrical, which we all enjoyed and appreciated. I'd go back for Michael and the food, but would think twice about going at prime time, even with reservations.

Worst experience at this chain! Waited over 30-mins beyond our reservation time! My last drinks was NOT the brand I paid for! And after we were told To wait for our table they tried to close out our table by turning lights! Management here is poor! The host actually told me people were late and or taking too long to eat to it backed Up our seating over half hour! DO NOT EAT at they Benihana NOT worth the aggravation! Not worth the forced tip! Not worth the FAKE drinks! FOR SHAME!

The chef was excellent at brining out the flavor of the food. Well cooked and everything was flavorful and seasoned well without being overly done or bland. Not many are that good. He was quiet and hard to hear under the mask, but the food tasted excellent.

Chef seemed very inexperienced. Even though we were a family dining and didn't mind to share food, he pretty much mixed up all our orders, leaving us confused which food item was from which order. The rice was split very, very unevenly. By the time the last person got her rice, the bowl was less than full. Midway through cooking, he left the table to go back to get more food to cook. He flipped the shrimp tails up into the air one at a time but none made it into his shirt pocket. With only 3 left, he threw all 3 up hoping one would fall in at least. The party of 2 across from us ordered steak. We also had 2 orders of steak. He only asked the other party how they'd like the steak cook but not us. Every table had the onion set on fire but not ours. My kids were disappointed. After he left to go back into the kitchen, the party across from us didn't look happy either. We mentioned the onion issue to our server, who then went to follow up. The chef rolled his cart back out to make up for his lack of performance. As he was flinging his tools left and right, my wife and I were both thinking, "gosh, I hope he doesn't fly that thing over at us." Dining at Benihana, the chef's performance is a big part of the dinner fun. With a disappointing experience like that, I'm not sure if I want to spend hundreds to dine there again.
