Bienvenue au Benihana qui vous invite a vivre une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres ! Vous serez assis en groupe à des tables communes, où votre chef personnel manipulera devant vous l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. Maniant ses ustensiles avec dextérité, le chef élabore devant vous ses créations culinaires : steak savoureux, poulet tendre ou fruits de mer succulents, qui ne manqueront pas de combler votre palais et de ravir vos yeux. Vous dégusterez également des sushis préparés par un talentueux maître sushi et des cocktails de spécialités. Le Benihana - Beaverton est situé à proximité du centre commercial Washington Square, du côté ouest de l'autoroute 217. Le restaurant possède une superbe terrasse où vous pourrez déguster un dîner de sushis et de Teppanyaki pendant la journée ou auprès du foyer extérieur le soir. Il propose également deux salles à manger privées, la première dotée de 2 tables de Teppanyaki pour 16 à 20 personnes, la seconde munie de 3 tables, parfaite pour les plus grands groupes.

    Our server, Nick, was fantastic. The food wasn’t prepared as well as usual, ie, the fried rice had some very hard grains in it. But we’ll be back!

    My biggest complaint is we didn’t get seated for 40 minutes after our reservation and the chef didn’t join our table for another 40 minutes. They appeared to be overbooked and understaffed. We have enjoyed the “show” on previous visits but our chef was excessively chatty/punny and heavy handed with the clattering knives and utensils. While the cocktail and most of the food was great (splurge for yummy fried rice!), the hibachi chicken entree had a few underdone pieces in both my and my daughter’s meals.

    We were told there was a 30 minute delay even for those of us with reservations. It ended up being well over an hour past our reservation time before we were seated. We arrived at 6:30 for a 6:45pm reservation and didn’t leave until almost 10pm with 3 small kids. It was a nightmare. Birthday dinner was not what I expected.

    Sitting at the communal table is always a wild card. In this case, the other five diners were quiet and didn't really interact with us. The same gamble applies to the chef assignment. Nick did a good job (considering there was a strange dietary restriction that completely changed the way he seasoned the food) but he was pretty low key, didn't talk much or interact with us. The two chefs at the closest tables were both more gregarious. The food is basically $50 per person. It was delicious but my chicken was prepared at the end because the chef "miscalculated" at gave all the meat to the others.

    The food was great, Rob the chef was awesome and really made my family feel cared about. The service was not the best. We arrived shortly before our reservation at 630 but did not get seated until 725. Drink order was taken right away but didn't get them until around 745. Chef arrived at the table just after 8. we didn't leave until after 9pm. Which, had it just been my husband and myself was fine, but we had our 4 year old with us. The manager apologized for the wait and explained they had had a table who was there for over 3 hours just chatting, but it was extremely frustrating having to wait so long after reservation and keeping a 4 yr old who is hungry entertained for over 2 hrs for food was a bit extreme.

    It took 45 minutes past our reservation time to get seated then another 30 minutes to even get soup.
