Bienvenue au Benihana qui vous invite a vivre une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres ! Vous serez assis en groupe à des tables communes, où votre chef personnel manipulera devant vous l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. Maniant ses ustensiles avec dextérité, le chef élabore devant vous ses créations culinaires : steak savoureux, poulet tendre ou fruits de mer succulents, qui ne manqueront pas de combler votre palais et de ravir vos yeux. Vous dégusterez également des sushis préparés par un talentueux maître sushi et des cocktails de spécialités. Le Benihana - Beaverton est situé à proximité du centre commercial Washington Square, du côté ouest de l'autoroute 217. Le restaurant possède une superbe terrasse où vous pourrez déguster un dîner de sushis et de Teppanyaki pendant la journée ou auprès du foyer extérieur le soir. We were seated one hour past our reservation time. Half our party had to leave and missed a birthday dinner because of the wait. The wait was cramped and uncomfortable- minimal seating and you’re stuck waiting in a small hallway. When people were asking if they could go to the mall given the long waits, they were told they can and they’ll text you- but you have 5 minutes to show up after they text you and then they’ll give the table away. They also were not giving estimates as to the wait. Once seated, we were in the last table in the back and it was very hot. They crammed 9 seats at a table that usually sits 8 so we were very close. Service was extremely slow but friendly. The sauce was weirdly spicy but other food was fine. We’d indicated it was a birthday but it was forgotten until the end when we brought it up. The tables around us received birthday photos but we didn’t. I’d think the poor organization was due to the holiday weekend but based on other recent reviews it seems this is their current norm.

I booked my reservations 3 1/2 weeks in advance. My reservation time was for 4pm. When we got there it was super busy. After about a 10 minute wait I finally made it to the front of the counter and gave them my reservation name. They took my information and said that there will still be a wait time due to over booking. We ended up waiting an hour and a half just to get seated. We also had a party of 10 (all adults) and they seated us in a table for 8 and added 2 extra seats. So we were packed like sardines and made the dining experience uncomfortable. Some people had to hold their food and eat. Loved the food and the experience but the wait time was absolutely ridiculous.

Made reservations at 3pm but didn't get seated until 330pm. But we were able to order a drink while we waited so that was okay. Food was good!

Nothing compared to what used to be … Reception, Ambience and Service are all degraded. The quality and value of food are standards compared to their current high price !

staff was super nice! it was super super busy up until close for valentines day and most everyone had apparently been working doubles or close to. our chef had been at work for 14 hours and was still super kind and friendly! i was surprised to only wait 10 min to be sat considering how busy it was. our server was very attentive and polite. the manager stopped by our group to say thank you and happy valentines day. very welcoming environment! i hope everyone got enough breaks and time to breathe <3

We've been going to Benihana about once or twice a year for probably 20 years. It's always been a rare treat. However, this last visit is making me question this expensive tradition. The restaurant itself needs updating. The bathrooms are sub par. We were seated next to a broken grill while workers discussed the issue. I was never offered water. It seems a simple gesture for a $50-$100+ meal. My soup was brought out almost cold. Especially when compared to my wonderfully piping hot tea. While normally a steak girl when at a steakhouse, I ordered the chicken - which just sounded good tonight. However, it was disappointingly dry. And I know inflation is everywhere, but an extra $2 for spicy or teriyaki sauce? And now it's $7 to upgrade your rice to chicken fried rice (which everyone used to do, but at our whole table there was just one- I'm sure this is telling!) A double in price took "I'm going to treat myself" to "that's outlandish." Our chef Ron did a great job entertaining the table and we had a nice evening all things considered, but "nice" is about it. Nothing special.

We waiting almost an hour from our reservation time to be seated. It took almost another hour to eat. They weee packed and understaffed in the chef department.

Our chef Isaac was in our opinion the best chef ever and we have been dining there for many years and many times a year he did not overcook or over salt we wish you could clone him . And our waitress Lillian we also would love to clone her the best service ever. We were there for Christmas Day and it was probably the worst service ever we believe it was over booked we won’t make that mistake again I don’t like waiting 2 and a half hours .

I love Benihana teppanyaki, but this last trip to the bar was off standard in a couple of ways. First, I came in with a friend to celebrate my birthday using a Benihana Chef's Table $30 gift certificate. As we ordered a drink and scanned the menu, the stand up bar placard advertised a $39 prix fix meal option which looked perfect. We chose the steak selection while casually mentioning the certificate and birthday reason for being there. Second, as the meal was delivered quite early (we weren't even close to finishing the salad/sushi/edamame appetizers), we juggled the array before us. My first two bites of Med/Rare steak were pure fat/gristle while my friend's experience was a bit better with Med cook choice. The balance of the meal and overall experience left us questioning why we were there. A few minutes into the steak, the bartender came over and explained the presented $30 certificate wasn't applicable to our purchase of a "special". She then recommended we come back to get the full value by ordering something else. The look on our faces reflected the abject feeling of insufficient warning under the circumstances, then melted into bait and switch anger. She asked if I wanted to speak to the GM and I politely and quietly said yes, but after we were finished with the meal. We then examined the placard only to find in very small red print (black background) that this selection wasn't eligible for said certificate. I literally couldn't see it with my reading glasses, nor did the bartender explain that to us before placing the order. While the feeling of incredulity and obvious misdirection of the above set in, the bartender came by about 20 minutes later to suggest "it's been taken care of", meaning the certificate would be honored in full. She must have intervened on our behalf with the GM and all was taken care of before the inevitable confrontation unfolded. So if Benihana is your "thing", may I recommend sticking to the basic teppanyaki experience.
