Didn’t seat us until 2 hours past reservation time then it was another 1 hour wait for food. Walked out with my party of 10.

Long story short - not worth a visit. We had a reservation at 5:15, waited 30+ min to be seated. Our server didn’t greet us until 40 minutes, after several members of our table tried flagging people down. We ordered our apps when our server took our drink order. We had to wait an additional 30 minutes for the apps… one of which was wrong. We spent 2+ hours “waiting.” We watched other tables that had been seated after us be served & leave. When we asked to speak to management, they told us reservation times didn’t matter and other tables were being served/turned because their orders were “easier” ….whatever that meant. Our alcoholic drinks finally arrived when we were half way through our meal (2.5 hours later). It was not a great experience. We should’ve left but were naively hopeful it’d get better.

The chef didn’t entertain at all he just cooked and that was it no type of entertainment the whole habithchi experience was not there as it was my girlfriend 1st time I have been to plenty of Benihana restaurants and have better experience with the chefs

Overall , the food was very good so there are no complaints there , but I do not recommend booking on Valentine’s Day. Mess around and find out . Your partner will most likely be disappointed if they have planned to be hungry at a certain time for the reservation .

We had a 6:15 reservation, we were sat at 6:30 (fine). We did not get our drink orders placed until 7:00 and we did not have any sort of food/ appetizers until 7:40.

Our chef was great. He had great energy while making sure everybody was smiling. Even gave extra food when he had it. Definitely will be returning!

Benihana was the first ever hibachi restaurant I ever went to back in the day! It use to be so nicer and upscale but it’s since fallen off bad!! Don’t get me wrong, the food odd still pretty good BUT it’s nothing like it use to be!! We use to drive from Griffin, GA to Buckhead at least 4-5 times a month to go to Benihana because back then it was a whole experience, it was a vice!! The cooks would entertain and interact with the customers and cook GREAT food!!! Now, they just come out introduce themselves, spin the spatula and knife around and start cooking!! Some do a good job with cooking when others not so much!! NOTHING can make me hate this restaurant but I would love to see it get back to what it use to be!! The bathroom isn’t even that clean and it usually smells like sewage🤢 them to add insult to injury you have to make a reservation but it still takes over a hour to be seated (with reservation) just not a good look!! But you can’t go wrong with the garlic butter😂

The only positive aspect of my experience was that I was seated at my reserved time. However, the salad was unappetizing, and I never even got to eat. I waited for an entire hour without seeing the chef. My waitress was kind and understood my frustration. I even asked the manager for an update since another party and I were both waiting without seeing the chef. He said he would check on the situation, but by then, I had another commitment. I was beyond frustrated and ended up leaving. For a high-priced franchise, it’s simply not worth it if you have to wait hours for your meal.
