    Making a reservation only reserve your spot in line when you arrive. Our reservation was 8:15, we got seated 1 hr later. Do not go on a Friday or Saturday night. Once we were seated it took at least 30 minutes before the Chef came out, no fault of his just overbooked. The air conditioner vent was dripping down, we told the Chef and he let the manager know. Next thing we know a man coming with a mop. I said we do not want him to wipe the vent while we’re sitting here. The manager said we can move back. I said no give us containers to go. We arrived at 8:15 pm and we checked out at 11:12 pm. No we were not entertained and eating for that long period. We waited to be seated, once seated she took our order right away. It took a longtime to get our drinks and for the Chef to come out. Well, I had my food before everyone because I don’t eat meat & asked to have it cooked in the back so I was eating by myself. Chef Eric was amazing! By the way, they ran out of sherbet so she gave us vanilla ice cream.

    I don’t even know where to start. I’ve been going by to Benihana for YEARS in several locations in three states including this one and have NEVER had an experience like this. I’m going to try and make a very long story short. Reservation was at 6:45 for our family of 3. Got there at 6:38, circled the parking lot until 7:06. Only three cars left during that time. I was one of about 20 cars circling. Finally parked, walked inside saw several tables where people were obviously done but management wasn’t doing anything to move them out and new patrons in. Got seated at 7:15. Waitress came to take our drink and food orders at 7:30. Our table didn’t get ours drinks until 8 (after I had to ask two of the three managers where our drinks were). The waitress didn’t bring our salad and soup until 8:20 and I had to get the manager again to even get this food (by this time I was only working with the Manager who called himself Dee). He said he was trying to push things along for us sand admitted he wasn’t sure what was causing the major delays in service. Chef didn’t come out until 8:45 (he was very nice and entertaining), he didn’t have all the ingredients for the table’s orders. Finally, the chef starts cooking, and as he’s cooking, SWEAT was DRIPPING down into all of our food. He was sweating so profusely he had to leave twice to go wipe his face. The lady of the family of 5 told the manager. The vegetables were burned because he didn’t flip them and move them to plates quick enough and the man that was in the other family didn’t get part of his dinner because of missing ingredients. Chef finished at 9:20 with food that had sweat in it and wasn’t edible. The only thing we ate was the fried rice because it was the only thing that didn’t have sweat in it. We got half the bill comped after I had to keep telling Dee this was unacceptable. I do give Dee credit for recognizing there was an issue with the service at our table. For clarity,4 tables sat after us and left before us.

    The food was not the problem. The dirty air vent leaking on us while we were waiting for our food to be prepared and the staff’s only remedy was to keep wiping it with a filthy wet cloth multiple times over us and other guest. We had to cover our food with our dinner napkins while we waited for the cook to finish preparing our food. Management provide no alternative solutions. We didn’t eat our food so it was packed up. I’m concerned that the staff have normalized this unhygienic approach and don’t truly understand the risk that imposes of health/safety of the restaurant and the company’s bottom line.

    We arrived on time for our reservation and were still told there’s a 45 minute wait to be seated. We ended up finding the bar ourselves since that was the area our reservation was for. The bartender was great and made the perfect recommendations for our taste of food and drinks.

    Our cook Jordan was exceptional as always. I enjoy getting him as a cook when we come. Food was 10/10. Hospitality is alway top tier.

    Birthday Promotional should be able to be scanned at the restaurant. Everyone doesn’t have access to a printer to print out the coupon.

    After being seated we waited over a hour to order drinks then an additional hour for food. This experience was totally unacceptable and all management could say was sorry. Tables that were seated after us received drinks and food before our table.

    Waited a little long for service and once we got service, it was spotty at best.
