Had reservations and still had to wait over an hour to get seated ! Overall Restaurant & food is overhyped .

I had a reservation for 9:30pm ended up starting the grill at 11:30pm. Didn’t end up leaving until about 12:40am. I was completely disappointed. I had plans afterwards and those plans had to be cancelled. On top of that it took them forever to seat us. After being seated we had to sit there for a long time just to start up the grill and get cooking.

Food was fine. Nothing special. Expensive for what you get and the crowd was boisterous. You just need to be in that frame of mind I guess.

I will never spend a penny in here again. Reserved for 9pm didn’t eat till 11pm. Restaurant closes at 10pm. Chef says he will not do tricks he is ready to go. 82 Health Score & no dress code anymore

I had the Benihana Trio and as I was eating my food, I bit down on something very hard, I thought I had broken my tooth, I took it out of my mouth and looked at it, I could not make out what it was, so I passed it to my aunt and she said it looks like a crab shell, so I showed it to the waiter/Waitress and he said ( what is that) I said idk, my aunt said it looks like a crab shell, he said we don’t sell crabs, I said, well it was in my food… so he went and got the manager, the manager said that it looks like lobster, I said that I didn’t have lobster ( after about 15 minutes, he came back with the bill with $16 off, I did not argue, my total bill was $169, so when it came for me to leave the tip, the lowest price was $30 and politely changed it to $15. I think my meal should have been free

I was disappointed with my experience. I arrived early for my reservation and was told we had to wait which was fine. We decided to go to the bar to ask about the Happy Hour drink specials. There was no Happy Hour drink menu only food. So we went back to the lobby to wait for our table. I look on the Benihana website and saw the drink specials that were supposed to be available for Happy Hour that they seemed to know nothing about. Next the host tells us that there are no waitresses… what?! So we have been waiting 20 minutes and can’t be seated. We were told we could have dinner in the bar area. We go back and grab a table. I showed the bartender the happy hour drink menu I found online and he honored the price. My question is why did they act as though there were no specials when I asked earlier. We ordered a special that they had for $39. I think the price and value of the food was good and portion was great. The reason for my lower rating on the food was because my steak was overcooked. When it came time to pay the bill, I wanted to use my birthday voucher but I wasn’t able to use it because I ordered the $39 special. Anyhow, lesson learned.

We had an absolutely awesome experience for our friend's birthday at Benihana in Buckhead. Manager Dee took such amazing care of everything, making it such a fantastic and special experience. Chef Jordan was INCREDIBLE and our son and our birthday friend are now extremely excited to learn how to twirl eggs on a spatula...though we may start with golf balls first. And our server Thomas was on POINT all night. I should probably also mention the food was amazing from top to bottom -- and you definitely can't go wrong with the wagyu options. Just the best time and the best environment for an amazing celebration with fantastic people. THANK YOU!

Set a reservation for 3 pm We were not seated until 30 minutes later It’s an old place , nothing special at all . Do not come to this place hungry cuz u won’t start eating until 45 minute after u are seated plus the 30 minutes waiting period !
