Bienvenue chez Benihaba, un restaurant qui vous propose une expérience culinaire hors du commun ! Ici, les clients sont tous rassemblés autour de la même table pour un moment de convivialité pendant que le chef vous offre un spectacle de Teppanyaki. Vous en prendrez plein la vue ! L’art ancien japonais du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante) n’aura plus de secrets pour vous. Il vous restera à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des mets proposés (boeuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.). Vous pourrez également vous régaler de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous délecter avec un cocktail de spécialité. Situé au cœur du royaume du divertissement à Orange County, Benihana Anaheim se trouve à 10 minutes de Disneyland, de California Adventure, du Centre des Conventions d'Anaheim et à 5 minutes de l'Angel Stadium. Le restaurant dispose de 22 tables teppanyaki dont deux cabines privées, ainsi que d'un salon rénové et d'un sushi bar confortable. Des frais de service de 18 % sont ajoutés à toute facture pour les groupes de huit ou plus.

Reservation was at 845Pm then I got seated at 9Pm. Server was nice and brought our drinks right away but for the cook to get to our table we had to wait OVER AN HOUR. It was 10Pm when our cook finally arrived at our table. An hour of just sitting there and mind you my reservation was at 8:45Pm…. That is beyond unacceptable! Food is always 5 Stars but after waiting for so long the experience just isn’t the same anymore. This had happen to me already in 2023 October but I gave them the Benefit of the doubt so I came November 2024 and the same exact thing happened. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Not impressed! The place looked very run down, and the noise level was a bit much for me. Food was cooked well but kinda flavorless. The soup was good.

The restaurant was dirty. As we sat at the teppan grill a layer of dust was visible on the lights above the grill. Around the griddle was crumbs and debris. Some of the chefs were so loud it was annoying we could hear every word of their performance even over the voice of our own chef. In spite of that we were served by Nick who did a wonderful job, was caring, made well cooked food and honored the two birthdays at the table well.

Chef David from Colombia is te best! Hands down to the way he cooks and attitude. Next time you go to Benihana ask for David you won't be disappointed.

The food was so salty and oily. The cook used a lot of kikoman sauce and that oil. I’ve never seen any cook use that much. Was not able to enjoy my food for the first time.
