Bienvenue chez Benihaba, un restaurant qui vous propose une expérience culinaire hors du commun ! Ici, les clients sont tous rassemblés autour de la même table pour un moment de convivialité pendant que le chef vous offre un spectacle de Teppanyaki. Vous en prendrez plein la vue ! L’art ancien japonais du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante) n’aura plus de secrets pour vous. Il vous restera à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des mets proposés (boeuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.). Vous pourrez également vous régaler de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous délecter avec un cocktail de spécialité. Situé au cœur du royaume du divertissement à Orange County, Benihana Anaheim se trouve à 10 minutes de Disneyland, de California Adventure, du Centre des Conventions d'Anaheim et à 5 minutes de l'Angel Stadium. Le restaurant dispose de 22 tables teppanyaki dont deux cabines privées, ainsi que d'un salon rénové et d'un sushi bar confortable. We made a reservation for 7 persons. We waited an hour and ten minutes past our reservation time. We were never told there would be such an extreme delay. I inquired several times to the hostess why there was a delay but just kept getting told we were next. Meanwhile the manager just sat and talked to the hostesses all night. Did not seem to be managing the situation (checking on tables, food or drink service, or checking with patrons, etc.) When I asked the manager why we waited so long she (Veronica) said it was due to a new corporate seating system which caused a delay. She never visited our table during our dining experience and never offered any compensation. The dinner was meh, food slightly salty and soft drinks watered down. Horrible experience, never going back.

After making a Reservation and checking in :20 minutes prior to our reservation time, my family and I wasn’t seated :30 after my actual reservation time. So this place had us waiting for almost 1hr to be seated. When ask the clerk and Manager, both were a little rude on answering my questions to why we weren’t seated soon. What was the point of making a reservation if this place doesn’t honor the reservation times.

Our family dinner was great to welcome the New Year and Tony was a wonderful chef. The colossal shrimp were delicious and Tony remembered all our requests!

As usual both my wife and I had another superb meal !!! We arrived about 15 minutes early but we were seated after less than 10 minutes . So that's the first plus in their favor. Our waitress was there within 10.minutes to take our drink orders. Plus number two. The only thing that I found lacking was the number of chefs in attendance ( I think that it's because of the time of day, but if you want my opinion there should have been 3 or 4 chefs on duty because of the time of year) there were only two when we arrived . But once our chef came to our table he first apologized (which he shouldn't have to do) and then he put on a stellar performance and everyone at the table got a really good meal and show also !!?!!

The chef and food were excellent. The reservation was delayed 1 hr and 20 minutes. There is no excuse for that. Either they are overbooking or working to slowly.

They were 45 minutes late with seating our table. No info about them running behind given until after we asked how long until we were sat.
