    Cordial, attentive service on their outside patio. Changed my table to a more protected area on the inside. Homemade soup was delicious, as was the salad. Light meal, which was my choice, but the entrées looked excellent, too. Good value overall

    As a family we have been to the Belvedere numerous times. We sat upstairs where there was a jazz group playing. We were a group of 4 and I was celebrating my birthday. First, we could hardly hear each other. The band was way too loud for the size of the space. Out of the 4 entrees served, my daughter had to send her filet mignon back to the kitchen because it was way undercooked. She asked for med-rare and got a very rare almost undercooked filet. Upon getting it back from the kitchen it was still rare. I ordered the chicken piccata which is not a special. Its a mainstay on the regular menu. What I got was a dry chicken cutlet served on mashed potatoes along with overcooked asparagus. The sauce was more like a gelatinous type of gravy. I didn't even taste any lemon. The other two entrees, one was a special the other on the regular menu, were very good. Suffice to say, we were very disappointed in our experience. Won't be going back anytime soon.

    Food was hit and miss. Lamb lollipops were the highlight, and the king cured tuna was great (though would have worked just as well with less cream cheese). The short rib was a bit of a let down, as it was dry and served at room temp. Was hoping to be impressed, but it was just ok. Espresso martini is definitely a solid choice as it wasn’t overly sweet. Service however was downright disappointing. Server arrived at the table and in less than 3 seconds basically told us to just put our menus up when we were actually ready to order. No real greeting or willingness to walk through the menu, no recommendations or care for our well being really. He basically did the absolute bare minimum which didn’t include anything that i would expect of a fine dining restaurant. I guess if you’re dining with a kid (who mind you, has over 25 passport stamps at the age of 12 and has been to the best Michelin restaurants in the world) you don’t deserve that somehow? Anyway, still tipped 20% bc that’s what you do, but he certainly didn’t earn it.

    The patio table was beautiful, our server was knowledgeable and attentive, and we enjoyed everything the chef prepared. Belvedere has a nice wine list, too!

    The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. The Belvedere remains our favorite restaurant in Lancaster.

    Easily one of the best dinners my husband and I have had anywhere. We will absolutely be adding Belvedere Inn to our list of “must eat at” restaurants anytime we’re in the Lancaster area. Lindsey was a joy to have as our server and we cannot wait to come back.

    This was our first time to dine at the Belvedere Inn. We were seated upstairs by the bar. I would request a table not by the bar next time. There was too much traffic going by our table. It prevented a calm dinner experience. We enjoyed the entrees (braised short ribs and chicken). Very tasty and good size portions. Our server was attentive. Dessert (mango pineapple cheesecake) was disappointing in size and flavor. Overall experience was good but not exceptional.
