    Food was hit and miss. Lamb lollipops were the highlight, and the king cured tuna was great (though would have worked just as well with less cream cheese). The short rib was a bit of a let down, as it was dry and served at room temp. Was hoping to be impressed, but it was just ok. Espresso martini is definitely a solid choice as it wasn’t overly sweet. Service however was downright disappointing. Server arrived at the table and in less than 3 seconds basically told us to just put our menus up when we were actually ready to order. No real greeting or willingness to walk through the menu, no recommendations or care for our well being really. He basically did the absolute bare minimum which didn’t include anything that i would expect of a fine dining restaurant. I guess if you’re dining with a kid (who mind you, has over 25 passport stamps at the age of 12 and has been to the best Michelin restaurants in the world) you don’t deserve that somehow? Anyway, still tipped 20% bc that’s what you do, but he certainly didn’t earn it.

    The patio table was beautiful, our server was knowledgeable and attentive, and we enjoyed everything the chef prepared. Belvedere has a nice wine list, too!

    I had the tuna special entree! Delicious! Lindsey took immaculate care of us!! Bravo again to the B!!

    Easily one of the best dinners my husband and I have had anywhere. We will absolutely be adding Belvedere Inn to our list of “must eat at” restaurants anytime we’re in the Lancaster area. Lindsey was a joy to have as our server and we cannot wait to come back.

    This was our first time to dine at the Belvedere Inn. We were seated upstairs by the bar. I would request a table not by the bar next time. There was too much traffic going by our table. It prevented a calm dinner experience. We enjoyed the entrees (braised short ribs and chicken). Very tasty and good size portions. Our server was attentive. Dessert (mango pineapple cheesecake) was disappointing in size and flavor. Overall experience was good but not exceptional.

    Beautiful building and nicely decorated. Mussels appetizer was excellent. Main course of short rib was small for the $52 price tag. Watery Mac and cheese accompanied it and was overly salty. Asparagus was cold. My wife’s scallops were also overly salted. Nothing to rave about. Jazz duet was incredibly loud. I asked several times to have them turn it down but unfortunately that never happened. Couldn’t wait to get out of there…. Waitress was kind enough to comp the mussels. That was nice and earned them one more star than I was going to give. We will not be returning to this establishment.

    The Halibut Special was good, my wife's filet was also very good. Cocktails are always exceptional however the beer list could be much much better. The service is always wonderful, Jennifer is always spot on.
