It was my first visit to Bella Via. My sister and I shared the large Ceaser salad - very nice! I ordered the Lasagna and she had the eggplant Parmesan - both fantastic! Definitely planning to go back again soon!

New location for restaurant. Higher prices. Smaller quantities. Lousy pours. Will not be going back.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal at this new addition to the Highwood restaurant scene. A fresh approach to the traditional Highwood Italian restaurants. The sea bass, veal saltumbuca, beet salad and grilled calamari were completely devored and totally enjoyed!! Our waiter, jason(maybe Jesse) was wonderful, as was all the staff we interacted with. I’m so glad you have valet… “Highwood Park” is hard to find parking, sometimes.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The linguine with white clam sauce was very tasty and our server was excellent. We’ll be back!

My husband's lasagna was excellent. My salmon was a tad bit overcooked and it had little flavor. The vegetables with it were very good, as was the lemon sauce it was in. But I had to ask for salt just to give the salmon some kind of flavor. The side pasta that came with it was very good. This is not our first visit to Bella Via but our first in this location. I would continue to recommend Bella Via to others but with the caveat about the salmon dish.

A fresh Italian restaurant in Highwood!! The food is exceptional! We had lasagna, sea bass and the special of the night, halibut. Every dish was excellent and the side pastas, which I normally skip, were fresh and yummy. It’s a bit loud inside but they have outdoor options which looks lovely. The prices were a bit higher for the pasta dishes, but it’s so worth paying a bit more for a fresh, delicious meal. I will be back!

My hubby and I sat on a four top had a great view of people coming and going I had the Cesar salad to start …delish crunchy yumm my hubby had the beet salad excellent we shared a wonderful pasta marinara with sausage oh my aladente can’t wait to go back

Not the old Bella Via. Small and very noisey. Service was terrible. I had Caesar. Tasted like they used Paul Newman dressing and lettuce was wet, so dressing tasted watered down. Rest of family had pasta dishes. They were sold, but underwhelming. The minestrone was on the salty side. The server had other tables with bigger checks. They got all her attention. I had 1 glass of wine. She never gave me a chance to order a second. My wife had coffee and had to go up to the hostess to get a refill. We didn’t even get water refilled. Left a 5% tip. Usually I leave 20. Should have left 0. Also parking is a real pain. Lots of restaurants in the area. Parked 3 blocks away. They did have valet. You have to pay for it. I really liked the old Bella Via. Been there 100 times. Won’t go back to this one.
