Le Bella Luce, à Nutley, surpasse le Luce Restaurant puisqu'il est considéré comme l'expérience culinaire par excellence dans le nord du New Jersey. Ouvert depuis mars 2015, le Bella Luce a repris où Luce avait laissé ; l'endroit a été transformé en un restaurant doté d'une ambiance branchée et décontractée, qui vous sert une cuisine italienne authentique mettant en vedette des plats signatures.

The food was great but the waters were not good at all forgot my drink when questioned the day they gave it to but it was given to another diner very slow long wait time for food

Terrific place for lunch. Google kept telling us that the restaurant was closed. It is OPEN FOR LUNCH. They can't get Google to change the info since Covid.

We ordered for appetizers one burrata and rice balls, were great. I ordered a branzino and it was great, veggies and fish was fresh. My wife order lamb chomps and it was great with a rosemary essence. And for dessert the affogato was good and also came with a little shoot of amaretto On the whole it was a nice experience

This is not my first Bella Luce review as I eat here often and including some holidays. As always, everything was perfect! I’ve never had a bad meal here!!! I adore the entire staff and the owner Joe. My family and I are treated like part of the Bella Luce family every time we walk through their door. It’s usually all about the food when you choose a restaurant to eat at but here you get it all; phenominal, delicious, cooked perfectly, high quality cuisine, warm and relaxing atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, stellar chef, great cocktails and a down to earth, fun and loving owner!!!!! If you haven’t tried Bella Luce yet, you have definitely been missing out!

Food was outstanding and the owner Joe is very polite and nice. Definitely won’t be the last time going there to go out and it’s a perfect spot to bring a date as well.

Translated from the Italian meaning Beautiful Light, this establishment opened in March 2015 and is located on a busy Franklin Avenue in Nutley. Bella Luce has a trendy yet casual vibe and serves authentic Italian cuisine. My partner, our friends and I came as first-timers for dinner tonight. Reservations were easily made via Open Table. Upon entering, we had to wait a few minutes for the host and got to look around the dark and classy interior, with a well-arranged bar area in the middle dividing the two dining rooms. We were promptly seated on the quieter side to the right and could hear the upbeat music playing throughout the restaurant. The menu comprised all of your typical Italian dishes along with several tasty daily specials. As starters, we opted for the crispy calamari and their special, the bruschetta. For our main meal, we decided on Short Rib Pappardelle, Grilled Pork Chop, Chicken Oreganata, and Rigatoni Bolognese. Complimentary warm bread with softened butter started our meal. The food was fresh, delicious, and authentic. The short-rib pappardelle pasta, which I had, was outstanding. Cooked al dente, just like it has to be, is served at the perfect temperature with an excellent ratio of pasta, sauce, and meat. The portion was perfect. During our meal, the owner, Joe, walked to all the tables to greet everyone, making sure everything was to our liking. The service was perfect, not overbearing but always there and our server was Cali. We had a great dinner, which we can recommend.
