Le Beatrix est un restaurant, café et lieu de rencontre de quartier situé à River North, à Chicago. Ses chefs Susan Weaver, Rita Dever et John Chiakulas ont élaboré un menu inspiré des plats concoctés dans le laboratoire de cuisine du Lettuce. Le Beatrix est ouvert tous les jours pour le déjeuner, le dîner, le souper et tard le soir. Tous les pains, gâteaux et pâtisseries sont faits maison tous les jours. Due to traffic and weather we were very late but we called and told them while on our way. Despite being Valentines Day they were understanding and sat us when we arrived. Told our server about our concert time and she got all our food out quickly. It was all delicious. Spinach dip special was great. Salmon and short rib were generous portions and perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Best bloody mary I’ve ever had. Server even looked and informed us the type of bloody mary mix (Dougie’s). Great and timely service, perfect for your brunch in the city.

I often get the A salad. Today the salad looked good at first but other than the arugula there was very little pear, avocado and cheese. I did ask for more cheese and the waiter very quickly brought that over but the salad was just lacking in its usual abundance of extra items.

We loved our time at Beatrix! And my ten year old says it was the best breakfast he’s ever had. Thank you for a lovely morning!

Our food was delicious and the menu is diverse. The music and atmosphere is very nice. Great service too! Thank you Asia ! It’s so convenient to have a meal here after an appointment at Northwestern.

Chicken enchiladas are revised. They were white flour tortillas with chicken breast TO white corn tortillas with chicken mixture with cumin. Tasty just different after a few years, it wasn’t described on menu. I can eat everything so ok for me. Suggestion: remove 1 enchilada ( it’s too big) and drop the price. I could then have dessert too!!!!

Went to brunch as part of our weekend in the City. Beatrix didn’t disappoint!! I highly recommend making a reservation as we did. But the wait, never seemed very long as the place is fairly large and people were coming and going quite often. The menu was eclectic and had a lot of really amazing choices. I have a gluten allergy and they had gluten-free donuts that were amazing. I also had a vanilla latte which was extremely good too. I ordered the Chilaquiles and they were amazing!! Highly recommend!

We did the Chicago Restaurant Week dinner menu. The food was very good, but the service was a little shaky. We went at 5:30 pm. The restaurant was busy, but nowhere near full. Yet it took a half hour before we got our first course.
