Le Beatrix est un restaurant de quartier, un café et un lieu de rencontre situé dans le quartier River North à Chicago. Les chefs partenaires Susan Weaver, Rita Dever et John Chiakulas ont créé un menu inspiré par la nourriture faite dans la cuisine laboratoire du Lettuce. Le Beatrix est ouvert tous les jours pour le déjeuner, le dîner, le souper et en fin de soirée, ainsi que pour le brunch le samedi et le dimanche. Toutes les pâtisseries, pains et gâteaux sont faits maison tous les jours. Fantastic!! Get the ham and Gruyere sandwich. Very relaxing and casual upscale experience.

Overall very good experience as always except this time the waitstaff was not as attentive particularly when we had to move from outside to inside when it began to rain. Waitstaff was also a somewhat confused about a coffee order.

We sat for 15 without water because our waiter decided he didn’t want to serve our section and outside. The air conditioning was out and it was super uncomfortable. We have eaten here before and are huge fans but this last time was a miss for us.

Always a great option for any time of day. I have my go to food options that I stick to though. The kitchen makes the eggs too wet for my liking and the waiters never remember the kids drinks that comes with their meals. Other than that as long as you are there for a good time and don’t mind reminding the staff of forgotten items you will enjoy any gathering with friends/family!

The food is always great here but we had to wait over 45 minutes for our food! At lunch time during the work day that was not ideal

Really amazing experience. Even with going on a Saturday night the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded at all we even showed up a little early and were able to be sat right away. It was a nice in between of sitting inside and outside since one side of the building had sliding glass doors. The chairs were really comfy but not a ton of leg room. Our server was the best very attentive his timing with our service was spot on, was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks, and we were also there to celebrate a birthday and he surprised our friend by walking on the outside of the building so we couldn’t see him coming with the cake.

Big fan of Beatrix - I've been for both brunch and dinner services and had a pleasant experience both times. During our brunch here, the A/C was broken which is unfortunate because I know the restaurant couldn't do much about this. Besides sweating a bit, the food made up for it. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Would go back but wouldn't be my #1 rec in Chicago.
