Le Beatrix est un restaurant de quartier, un café et un lieu de rencontre situé dans le quartier River North à Chicago. Les chefs partenaires Susan Weaver, Rita Dever et John Chiakulas ont créé un menu inspiré par la nourriture faite dans la cuisine laboratoire du Lettuce. Le Beatrix est ouvert tous les jours pour le déjeuner, le dîner, le souper et en fin de soirée, ainsi que pour le brunch le samedi et le dimanche. Beatrix was a great choice for dinner while visiting Chicago. The food was great and Monday had a special 50% off of all bottles of wine! Great food, great time and very laid back and comfortable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good place to spend the evening for dinner, drinks, and friends, check out and book a table at Beatrix River North. You will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed our “birthday” dinner at Beatrix. Our Waitress was very friendly. A bit disappointed on the lack of ambiance for the price category. Had excellent pistachio crusted fish and Tall, Dark & Handsome Chocolate Cake.

I've been to this branch of Beatrix several times both pre-and post-Covid. Yesterday's brunch was a disappointment. Yes, Beatrix was busy, since it's a popular place, but not busier than it normally is . Our server was friendly and mostly attentive, but our coffee arrived without saucers, spoons, or milk/creamer and sugar. The entrees arrived barely room temp, and the scrambled eggs were overcooked and hard. But they were edible, and our server looked a little frazzled, so we didn't want to create more problems for him. Receptionist and host were courteous and efficient, and like I said, our server was fine. Hopefully, Beatrix will figure out how to get its hot entrees out faster to diners, and pay better attention to the scrambled eggs. Fluffy and bright yellow, not heavy, browned, and flat.

Every evening we chose to dine with our friends at Beatrix we are reminded why this is our favorite amongst our many options. Service is always pleasant. Quality of the food is high and we are with our family and friends. Beatrix river north never disappoints.

First of all, I’ve been a Lettuce Entertain You frequent diner for at least 20 years and unfortunately I think Beatrix is one of this company’s worst restaurants. Maybe it’s because I’m not young and hip but I really don’t think that anyone appreciates poor service, and subpar food. Our waitress was nice and but when I have to wait 10 or more minutes for a coffee refill, I think that’s pretty bad. I waited so long that I noticed a small service area, where the pot of coffee was located and got up and served myself! I ordered the Ranchero Burrito, which was very dry and heavily seasoned with something so salty that I tried to make it eatable by eating it with a lot of sour cream which didn’t really work. I would have said something to the waitress but again, I didn’t see her and after 10 more minutes went by, I just tried to make the best of it by loading it up with the sour cream. I had eaten all of my sour cream and my friend had ordered the chilaquiles and knew I was tired of waiting to ask for more sour cream, so he gave me the portion that came with his meal. And don’t get me wrong, I love birds and have a bird bath and several feeders but because the large sliding doors were open, several English Sparrows were flying overhead while we were eating, which did provide some amusement for us and several other tables but I did notice bird droppings on the open ceiling duct work which was a little concerning. The bill came to $84 (which included a %20 tip, because she was nice) for I espresso martini, 1 cappuccino, 1 coffee, 1, 6 inch dry burrito, 1 chilaquiles and a hard chocolate chip cookie. I felt it was an expensive and disappointing lunch.

Went here during a Sunday Brunch time. Food is so delicious- I got the shakshuka and it was a perfect spice level. Very good. My sister got the biscuits and chicken sausage gravy and my friend got the breakfast sandwich. We all loved the chicken sausage as well. Coffee was very good

Delicious meal at Beatrix and absolutely love it! 3 of us had the Prime burger and it was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was awesome and made great recommendations. I can’t wait till our next visit to Chicago!
