Célébrant sa 108ème année d'ouverture, le Barbetta Restaurant est le plus ancien restaurant de New York toujours détenu par la famille fondatrice. Le Barbetta est aussi le plus ancien restaurant italien de New York et le plus ancien du quartier des théâtres. Cette triple distinction lui a valu la récompense du Locali Storici d'Italia. Dans un intérieur brillant décoré avec des antiquités italiennes du XVIIIe siècle, le Barbetta sert une cuisine du Piémont, la région italienne le plus au nord-ouest. En été, son jardin incroyablement verdoyant avec ses arbres centenaires et parfumé de fleurs de glycines, de lauriers roses, de jasmin et de gardénia en font l'un des endroits les plus prisés pour les repas en plein air.

The food was okay. Not worth the expense. I think they over charged me for out wine. We were 5 people and with tip our total was over 800 dollars. We rushed out of there cause we had to get to a show, mostly my fault for not double checking yet that should never happen. The owner doesn’t like jackets out so the force you to check it kinda militant. You’re given a prefix menu limited to what’s online. Wasn’t out favorite. Fine check your bill if you go there may be some funny business going on.

Beautiful dining room, good location, great service but the restaurant needs a new chef. I did not even eat my main course because it was so bad.

In town for the NYC Marathon — needed a special restaurant for a pre- celebration for 9 people to encourage our special runner . Booked this months prior. What a special New York elegance for the oldest family owned restaurant in the city . The prix fixe dinner had sumptuous offerings and was presented with style. Our whole group was so pleased. Also wonderfully enjoyed the piano playing of upbeat classics. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this treasure of a place in the theater district’

There's no place quite like Barbetta - the old-school vibe, the family history, the friendly and gracious service, and the extensive menu of delicious options. Our group of four was welcomed like we were family, with humor and warmth. Our meals were authentic and unique. We ate in the dining room (too cool out for the garden patio), which was quiet and calming even when busy with many full tables.

Beautiful restaurant and professional and courteous staff. Pre theatre price fix menu choices were excellent. Give the captain Eduardo a hug from me

Food and service were excellent. However, we went after a show so we weren’t in a hurry. We weren’t rushed but they only had a pre-theater menu. I wish they offered their regular menu on a Saturday night.

First off this restaurant gets the highest NY health grade of A. It was clean and cozy. Extensive wine menu, delicious food. Everyone in our party raved about each dish they had. And Finally a restaurant with properly trained staff! Everyone was impeccable! From start to finish it was Fantastic! Edwardo was the best! Would never hesitate to go back. Don't change a thing. I can't wait to go back and will recommend this place to everyone I know.

Nice old place with original decor in the center of Broadway district , restaurant is there since 1905. The menu is prefix $65 per person for an appetizer and. Main course and dessert. It was very nice and food was solid. Will recommend highly
