We ate by outside on the patio. Service a little slow but I think our server also had inside tables. Food was excellent, portions huge (will eat leftovers for another meal). There happened to be live music from some buskers across the street which was very pleasant. Would return for sure!

Wonderful dinner at Bar Italia. The watermelon salad, red snapper and chocolate cake were all delicious and my server Nicole was just outstanding. I look forward to returning.

Bar Italia has the best pasta in St. Louis, period. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, the service is extraordinary, the patio atmosphere is also the best in St. Louis. It’s always easy to make reservations! I honestly don’t understand why Bar Italia isn’t more crowded because it’s one of my top overall value experience restaurants that I go to.

Their chicken with berry sauce, mashed potatoes, & vegetables tasted good. The chicken was hard to describe as chicken. It was a drum stick with a bone attached possibly a thigh. Haardly no meat on the bone. The wing drummy was attached to bones, also no meat. Favor was very good. My sister had the pork medallions with mushrooms and vegetables. Hers was more than enough for her to eat. Great doggie bag. She said it was very good. Our waiter was okay. We flagged down another waitress to get our bill. We had Muny tickets so we want to get going. We had eaten here before but I think the menu has changed or management. My friend and I both got the chicken, I would not recommend that.

Service and food was amazing. Sadly the wine list needs help when you find out the they only have one wine left on the list that you can buy you are just dishearten.

Service was pretty bad. We were seated right away and then waited 20 minutes, or so, and never had a waiter come to our table. I finally asked someone to help us. He took our order right away but then never checked back on us. It was like we were invisible.

We found the food very bland but we are from New Orleans so we are used to flavor. Dining room had a very strange odor. Service was very good.
