The food is delicious and authentic, and the service excellent at Banu. It's possible to have a conversation without yelling above the noise which is a nice change to other restaurants.

great place. first time i had persian/iranian food and it was super delicious. apologies for the incorrect naming of dishes but wow, we loved every bit of it. we got the fam jam that was totally devoured, asking for extra yogourt just to drizzle over the rice. the okra and eggplant stew was hearty and went very well with rice and we couldn't get enough of barbari, just dipping it into everything. staff was very accommodating and friendly. space was minimalistic but felt appropriate. loved it. wish we had the opportunity to eat there again.

Just go, you will not be disappointed! Went with co-workers and the food was amazing times 1000. The noise level was perfect to be able to actually speak with everyone at the table. The service was perfect. Just go!

Delicious Persian food in a pleasant, quiet environment. Service was helpful and attentive. I wish we had room to taste more dishes! We will be back with friends to try the whole menu!

This was by far my best meal in Toronto. The service was great -- the night we were there it was a two-person staff, and they made us feel at home. They guided us through the menu, and were very comfortable with a diner with celiac. Everything we had was flavorful and unique. It's a small place, so it feels like you are dining in someone's home. I would go back the next time I am in Toronto.

As usual it is a charm to go to Banu. Authentic tasty food, exceptional service and great venu.

A welcoming relaxed space, a varied inviting menu, delicious choices and perfect rice. I love the Herbs and beef stew (gormeh sabzi), the olive salad, and much more. Enticing cocktails- Bakhtiar's Revenge is superb.
