    Perhaps I ordered wrong but Balthazar is not what it used to be. The bread, chips and wine were the highlights.

    Had a lovely lunch for three on a table better suited for two! There was not enough room for all the glasses and plates.

    Disappointing: chewy bread, sandy whelks and tasteless (as the mussels, rest of seafood was nice) opera was too sweet and Paris Brest filling not great

    We had a really good time . All our main courses were amazing the only one complain I had is that we found the raspberry soufflé a bit too sweet for our taste but was a great meal all in all

    I ate at Balthazar with two friends and we enjoyed the food and ambience greatly. We would recommend it. The only reason that I have not given this full marks is because the three of us were put on a table for two so there was very little room for the bread basket, glasses, bottle of wine alongside our plates and we had to keep moving items on and off the table.
