Le restaurant Baker House est niché dans une demeure de caractère des années 1885 qui est meublée de façon décadente. Vous pourrez y prendre des repas décontractés, des petits plats et des cocktails au coin du feu. Dans l'esprit des grands "cottages" d'antan au bord du lac, le Baker House a recréé un monde avec un mode de vie de la période du "Gilded Age", où de remarquables divertissements sont organisés au quotidien et des fêtes somptueuses ont lieu tous les soirs. Chantez en accompagnant le piano dans la salle de musique, jouez au poker dans la salle de jeux, déguster des grands vins dans la bibliothèque et prenez des repas au coin du feu dans le salon. Au lieu de chaises de restaurant traditionnelles, vous serez servi dans des chaises en peluche et des canapés rembourrés frangés dans l'ensemble de la demeure de caractère. Le menu de petits plats est propice à la détente et au partage, et comprend de nombreux produits régionaux tels que des assortiments de fromages artisanaux du Wisconsin, de la charcuterie savoureuse, des fondues saisonnières et des plats favoris plus copieux comme du contre-filet et des paninis. Situé sur la rive Est du lac Léman, le restaurant offre une vue panoramique sur le lac et la Riviera. Come join us for a Victorian tea party. A tour of the first floor of our mansion begins at 1:00 pm followed by a lovely party in one of our parlor rooms. We will serve you an assortment of gourmet teas, mini sandwiches, and mini desserts. $42 per person plus tax and service fee. Tea party concludes around 3:00.

A unique experience. The house is a walk through the past, food is delicious, service terrific, live music - a lovely singer was the icing on the cake - perfect night

Tasting menu is elegant and heavy on portions. Ribeye was cooked perfect, and filet was very tender. Couch was a little uncomfortable, but Sevice and live dinner music was very nice.

Sunset view of Lake Geneva. Beautiful Victorian home. Delicious meal with a friend. The staff was very attentive. Will definitely return the next time I’m in town. Cheers!

Was a little bummed as their website states they have prime rib on Friday and Saturday so we specifically came just for that. When we arrived all they had was a tasting menu for $65 where you got a starter, entree and dessert. Not a bad deal at all, we don’t eat sea food so we were able to sub our appetizer for a Cesar salad which was AMAZING, I ordered chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans, chicken was so dry I had to swallow it by taking a sip of my water told the waiter and he offered to get us ranch which I didn’t care for whatever brand of ranch they had (ifkyk) and the potatoes were very sticky and needed butter but at this time we had already waited for the ranch for so long I didn’t want to ask and wait again as my appetite was no longer there. I got the chocolate cake and it was decent just very rich. Our server was very kind when he was around, he only checked on us once during our meal, my husbands steak was cooked perfectly he just didn’t care for the sauce that was on it. Probably wouldn’t go back as our bill was $159 and to leave still hungry wasn’t fun.

Felt like a $200 a plate experience, with excellent service. The best ribeye I have had in a long, long, time. Would recommend.

The Baker house is a very charming older home , the pianist was very good except very loud , if your in the room dining that he is playing . We had reservations at noon for the Sunday Brunch . The food was nothing more than a holiday inn buffet breakfast . Food was cold , tasteless , scraping the bottom of the pans , there was not an egg station . Very costly ! When you have to have lunch after dropping $ 160 For two the Sunday brunch . We will not return .

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. My family and I went there for an Easter buffet. While being seated, we could tell there wasn't much food left. We all ordered mimosas and water , and it took at least 15 min before we received our drinks. Tried to waste some time in order for them to catch up on refilling the food. We started in the cold pasta area, which was still not filled within 20 min. We were scraping bowls. little to no salad and no shrimp. The hot section was just as bad, with no eggs, no waffles, and very slim pickings. What we did eat was not good. You had to ask our servers for any kind of condiments, and by the time you received them, your food was cold. Finally got waffles, now no butter or syrup in sight. There was a moment when there were no plates for the buffet. People were standing around in confusion. The staff looked super frazzled. I believe they took on too much. This place is better suited for a cozy intimate dinner for two, but brunch they have not mastered yet.

It was a wonderful experience with the brunch buffet and live piano music playing in the historic house. It was very special to see the ice sculpture bar in the front lawn. Food was delicious. Parking was ample. Will be back again.

Beautiful tea in a lovely Victorian mansion that was beautifully decorated for the season. Added bonus is a tour of the home that also gave us the history.
