A reservation puts you in the front room with visibility of the front windows and the sushi bar. This restaurant has a small footprint, so I recommend a reservation. The food? We went entirely with sushi, and it was the best sushi I've had since pre-covid. For an appetizer, try the JBB. We loved it. All glasses of wine were $9 or less. We plan to go back! (This was our first visit.)

Best Japanese and Thai food in MN! The owner treats his clients like friends and apart from the food, you'll return for the amazing experience all his staff provides!

Excellent service from kind and friendly staff, delicious food in large portions, reasonable pricing and great value for the money. We love it here and always order the hamachi kama, dinner salads, ahi poke, and several sushi rolls. The food is always perfect and the happy hour menu has a lot of our favorites to choose from. 10/10 recommend

BAGU is quickly becoming one of my go-to Thai places in town. Initially they informed us their wok wasn’t working but thankfully they fixed it by the time we ordered. The tofu laab & fried rice were fantastic every time we had them, this time we tried the Roti desert with berries & condensed milk drizzle and it was amazing!! Thanks to our friendly server who recommended it, we will be back for more!

The food is a cut above: fresh and well-prepared. They have a happy with two for one drinks. Prices are quite reasonable.

Monday night chef’s choice menu was amazing and a pleasant surprise! Different menu every Monday! We are definitely going back!

the quality of sushi is in my top 3 Mpls. If you miss Fujiya or Sushi Tango, get your sushi fix here. the patio with bamboo walls is de rigueur. I only have one lamet. they had the best shu mai in Mpls but they took it off the menu.

The laab was a bit spicy even though we asked for mild level, but overall the food was good. It’s not the friendliest service however, so not sure if we’ll be back again.
