b. Matthew’s Eatery is a one-of-a-kind bistro serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch in a renovated historic building in Savannah’s Historic Landmark District.

What started out as a casual deli and bakery has evolved into a full-service eatery with menus that feature a variety of traditional and southern-style dishes. We use fresh, seasonal, high-quality ingredients and source locally when possible. You won't want to miss our famous Fried Green Tomatoes or Shrimp & Grits when you visit Savannah!

We were really looking forward to this dinner. It turned out to be better than we expected. We had a fabulous time with great service and amazing food. We can’t say enough good things about B Mathews

Nathaniel is always an attentive and wonderful server! We had him back to back nights as our server and he took care of us without any issues. Our food was phenomenal, as the new menu they rolled out a couple days ago, is incredible! We all tried new things on the menu and were blown away. The drinks and wine selection were great and we’ve now come to love a new Syrah that we must keep at home. The atmosphere is always beautiful and makes you feel comfortable, no matter if you’re casual or more dressed up. The music is never too loud and volume of people talking is a pretty moderate level, given the small restaurant.

We went there specifically for the shrimp and grits recommended by our hotel. Did not disappoint some of the best shrimp and grits we have ever had. We had the appetizer beets with ricotta cheese very good and different. We had a great time. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Everything was great! Loved the grits! Veggie omelet filled with veggies! Been a few years since we’ve been there and didn’t disappoint!

Our server Haley was super informative, amicable, yet straight to the point! She shared excellent recommendations and all the food came out at the perfect temperature and the right time.

We were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience. We expected an okay food experience given the location in a touristy area. But wow! We were amazed by the quality of the food and the varied options. The food was amazing - tasty, fresh, reasonably priced, good portions. We only spent one night in Savannah but would have eaten there every day if we stayed longer. It was really that good! Our server (Hayley) was attentive, friendly and offered good suggestions based on our preferences. Overall, an excellent experience.
