Established over a decade ago, Aurora restaurant is a landmark of the Italian cuisine in the vibrant neighborhood of Williamsburg.
Aurora creates a perfect balance of tradition and innovation, with a great respect for seasonality, by combining top quality Italian imports, sustainably grown local produce and house-made specialties.
The wine program offers a list of over 150 labels, along with craft beers, signature cocktails, and a full liquor bar.
The rustic and charming dining room with exposed brick walls and high ceilings, opens to an intimate, leafy garden, enclosed during the colder months, and perfect for a relaxing dinner "al fresco" during the warm season.
Aurora is a great spot for a romantic date, a casual getting together with friends, or private events.

Sometimes the worst comes out in a restaurant mid week. But not in this place. Attention to care. The food. The ambience. Just like a premium Friday or Saturday nights or Sunday lunchtime. so many things I’ve said about this Restuarant, but it’s at the end of the day all about that phenomenal consistency. The gem of Williamsburg.

Duck breast was better than at Aquavit. However please wash the spinach better and the special pasta needed salt & less lemon pith. Fun & delighting experience altogether, lots of date night ambiance in the back garden.

Aurora was great! We went there for dinner after our engagement and everyone was super nice and sweet and even gave us free glasses of wine. The food was delicious as well.

My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable experience at aurora. The food was delicious, all the ingredients were fresh and given the size of the menu, every dish was thoughtfully crafted. The service could have not been better thanks to our waiter Antonio who treated us like royalty ensuring every moment we were satisfied with our experience. Finally the ambience is perfect. We went on a summer night, the breeze from the proximity to the water was perfect and the greenery in the garden makes you feel like you are somewhere outside of Brooklyn. I would highly recommend this place to any of my friends or family, especially if Antonio is there to guide your experience.

My friend and I had an outstanding dinner. The food was extremely fresh and my taste buds exploded with excitement. The service was outstanding and the management team very accommodating. I recommend Aurora to everyone.

Restaurant has a cozy environment. Food is always good. We also like the garden section but we do not get to sit there too often.

I dont understand why we have to submit one order and not order as we go .. at least the appetizer

Hello, I understand your frustration. If you come Monday-Thursday, this would be possible. But on weekend nights - or if we have private parties/groups with a prefix - we need to institute this rule for our customer's benefit. The kitchen at Aurora is so small that if it does not get the whole ticket at once, it's possible your second round of ordering will fall behind one of these parties or be part of a different seating. In that case, you would have had your appetizers, but possibly wait 45 minutes to an hour for your second course. No one wants that. It is a space and timing issue designed to help your experience, not hinder it. I do apologize that it perhaps was not properly explain to you, but there is indeed a reason. I hope this explanation helps. Thank you for your patronage.
