L'Atlas propose le meilleur de la cuisine américaine saisonnière à l'influence européenne, mettant l'accent sur les ingrédients frais provenant des fermes locales. Situé dans le The St. Regis Atlanta, ce restaurant vous fera découvrir une expérience culinaire inégalée du Capitole au Sud. Il est en outre dirigé par les chefs encensés Gerry Klaskala et Christopher Grossman, ainsi que par le responsable général Jason Babb. Outre le menu, l'Atlas vous fera vivre une expérience gastronomique différente grâce à ses intérieurs bien conçus. Les murs en vert émeraude laqués sont ornés d'une extraordinaire collection d'art moderne du XXe siècle, de certains artistes mondialement célèbres comme Freud, Chagall, Bacon et Léger. Toutes ces œuvres font partie de la collection Lewis. Chacune a été sélectionnée et placée avec soin pour que vous puissiez en profiter. Le guide Zagat a récompensé le restaurant du titre "Le Plus Attendu" en 2015.

Atlas is a beautiful, sophisticated but not stuffy space in the St. Regis Hotel. Service was excellent. To make this level of dining experience run smoothly, I think there were more servers than diners, and they were hustling but very professional. I was excited to have a table near the kitchen so we could watch the hustle, as my husband is a big foodie. We each had the tasting menu and he had a special wine pairing. We did dine on a night with a special anniversary menu. Overall, the food and wine were excellent, with some stand outs and a few misses, which was disappointing for Michelin Star level. Stand outs: one of the "snacks" was a foie gras filled tiny tart that was perfect. Other stand outs: Foie gras and sweet potato, Georgia shrimp, cod (though very rich), and the desert FM Rocher (a golden ball of deliciousness). The bread service had delicious brioche and pretzel bread. The wine pairing was spot on other than one red that was just a miss (too acidic for the pairing IMO). The other disappointment was the truffled brie course. It was just flat. Maybe we just had a dud truffle, but the truffle didn't have the depth of flavor I expected. For us, this was a very extravagant experience (over $1200 for dinner for 2) and I left a tad disappointed in the lack of "perfection" in my opinion, but this is certainly a special place. I may return to check out the Garden Room (adjacent) or Tavern menu, as the space is gorgeous, and the food and service overall were top notch.

This was one of those events you don't want to miss in a place like this. 10th Anniversary Grand Finale with Chef Money and Grossman. Fantastic setup, food and wine pairing. Congratulations for this event. It was fantastic.

Simply Amazing. Everything you would hope for in an elegant evening dining out. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and tables are spacious and quiet. Service beyond expectations. We enjoyed the chef's tasting menu and Mr. Money did not disappoint! Each new plate an experience of amazing sight, smell, taste and texture - healthy and sublime! Surprising crunches and savory delights. Hots, colds and fabulous flavor mixes. Some photos attached. Chef Freddy Money is a true multi-sensory artist! We will be back!
