L'Atlas propose le meilleur de la cuisine américaine saisonnière à l'influence européenne, mettant l'accent sur les ingrédients frais provenant des fermes locales. Situé dans le The St. Regis Atlanta, ce restaurant vous fera découvrir une expérience culinaire inégalée du Capitole au Sud. Il est en outre dirigé par les chefs encensés Gerry Klaskala et Christopher Grossman, ainsi que par le responsable général Jason Babb. Outre le menu, l'Atlas vous fera vivre une expérience gastronomique différente grâce à ses intérieurs bien conçus. Les murs en vert émeraude laqués sont ornés d'une extraordinaire collection d'art moderne du XXe siècle, de certains artistes mondialement célèbres comme Freud, Chagall, Bacon et Léger. Atlas has excellent service and overproduced cuisine but the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere made for a very pleasant evening. The service team is the reason to go. Our waiter Anthony was brilliant and both sommelier's were accommodating educational and a delight to deal with. The evening ended with a lovely Rhum Baba perfectly presented. Our only complaint was the completely overwhelmed food that featured an overdressed Wagyu tartare with no beef flavor, only texture, Oyster's flooded with a overly sweet mignonette and Caviar Bellinis made of Buckwheat which did not taste very good and had questionable texture. We did enjoy the "pillows" pasta dish. We will try the tasting menu next to see if it delivers a better culinary experience. In short, great staff, ok food.

We were not told that there was an option to get the ala carte menu in the main dining room. A server at the end told us that. We ordered the wagyu supplement with our server but it was completely ignored and not served. As they were starting dessert, we reminded them. The server came back and apologized and admitted it was their fault. Additionally, we had a $500 credit that was called in to be applied to our bill as a gift. We got the bill and it was not applied. We pointed that out to the server and he immediately knew that there was a credit on our reservation but for some reason a Michelin star restaurant did not have the process in place to have that completely and Seamlessly transition to our bill. It made us wonder if it was intentional. At the end of the day our bill was over $1350 and it was not worth it.

It was good experience. Food and service were wonderful, with exception of entree were delivered way too late. We didn’t understand the choice of music as Heavy Metal should not be what we were listening to while having this experience and we were told by our server that it was chefs play list and 50% of people don’t like it. It wasn’t even back ground music and it in your face. Well we were in that 50% not like category. It is really not about the chef , it is about the guest.

I'm not sure where to start with this review. The good news is this was a co-birthday dinner with a dear friend and our party of 4 made the best of it because we had each other's company. I have had the privilege of dining at many Michelin stars. This experience did not deserve one. 1) No coat check. So I had to share my chair with my full length coat at a purported fine dining restaurant. 2) I made the reservation on Nov 28 for dinner on December 14. We were seated in the bar. We inquired about being moved to the dining room but were told we could not be accommodated. We asked if we could have done something different when booking the reservation to indicate we wanted to be seated in the dining room for the chef's tasting experience. We were told the dining room is first come, first served and we should have known we booked a busy Saturday night. Well then you should indicate in the reservation system that we would be seated in the bar for a greater than $2.5k dinner experience. 3) The sommeliers were a bright spot in the experience, especially the one whose name I cannot recall who recently worked at Miller Union. 4) The food was well done, however was not what I would call an exceptional culinary experience. It was beautifully presented, but some of the flavors fell flat. The highlights were the venison course and wagyu supplement. 5) The service was adequate. Not as polished or as well timed as I've experienced at other Michelin restaurants. If you are looking for a real Michelin experience in Atlanta, please go to Lazy Betty. Or maybe try this place on a non Saturday and ensure you are seated in the proper dining room.

Checked in at 4:55 for a 5 pm tasting menu , early dinner so we could make the symphony at 8 and was asked to have a seat at the bar. At 5:20 I went back to the hostess and asked how much longer and they acted like I had not checked in. Food was very rushed and service was not coordinated at all, servers trying to place food while sommelier was explaining the wine presented, interrupting him on 4 separate occasions. Maxwell, the sommelier is outstanding, knew his wine selections very well and was very informative. I would not have enjoyed it as much had it not been for him. $1500 dinner for 2 and don’t think the value is there. For reference, we usually make a point of trying various Michelin star restaurants when traveling and this did not compare. Maybe it was a bad night.

The food and service were outstanding. A member of our party has Celiac’s Disease and the staff at Atlas made sure to provide gluten free recommendations for each course. They also brought out some of the best tasting gluten free bread we’ve ever had and separate butter to help avoid cross contamination! Each dish was expertly plated and tasted heavenly.

Had our Anniversary dinner at Atlas and the food and service was outstanding. Andre was so welcoming and provided some of the best service that we’ve ever had. It was an amazing experience overall and we can’t wait to come back with family and friends and looking forward to asking if Andre is available. It’s no wonder that you all received a Michelin star and hope you all get a second one in the future.
