The Cheeseburger was cold and overcooked with a thin patty. Wendy’s beats it! The lobster grilled cheese was sent back because the meats was dry, rubbery, tough and the lobster flavor was suffocated by other ingredients such as spices and cheese. One bite sent it back. The salad ingredients were poor. The stale croutons should not have been plated. The lettuce was old and cucumber flaccid. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the water but that doesn’t make up for the poor food. With Cheeca Lodge being such an exclusive 4 plus star resort, we expected much better.

Our waitress was under qualified and extremely hard to understand and be understood. I believe our experience marred because of her.

We loved dining on the beach. Fun lighting. Musician was great, but a little louder than I wished. Service was great. Very relaxing.

Biggest issue we had was lack of air conditioning. Was very hot and stuffy inside, became very uncomfortable during our meal. The wait staff indicated that in the past 8 years the A/C rarely works. Food was average, staff very curious and helpful.

For such a high end place you would expect to be welcomed. We felt like they didn’t even want us to be there. Just getting through the gate .. “show us the reservation”. Then after asking to sit by the TV to watch USA in the Olympics it was like “let us get back to you” we ordered and they were like just to let you know we are starting lunch at noon so the food will be late. We said ok can we order breakfast? “I’ll ask”. No follow up. No beverage check after first drink. The wagu burger was really good but the service and acceptance ruined the experience
