We visited to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed. We chose a wide variety of food from their starter platters to individual curries, rice and naan’s etc. We also enjoyed their beers, soft drinks and water. We thought the food was lovely and tasty. We dined in the afternoon on a very wet day. The room had a nice ambience but ambience in my opinion is improved 100 % when the room is warm enough ! We found it was a bit cool at the table. That apart, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Just to say also, the staff were lovely and attentive. I’d like to think we will return soon. Thank you.

First time we experience ..was exceptional we arrived late ..traffic etc the staff helped us out on arrival no panic ..as we sat st the bar havin a drink as the table was been arranged we gt a booth which made it more pleasant food ambience all top quality obviously the service was spot on ..thank u for lovely evening..definitely will be coming back and have recommended it to family and friends..so the dishes we had were karai gosht and tarka daal ..I know my food and this was top quality 👌

I was expecting Indian fine dining. Having looked at the website & menu before hand I was excited. Arriving from Leeds , the M62 was closed, which meant we were late by 20 mins, we rand many time to advise them if this but no one would pickup the phone when we called We finally arrived & were greeted politely & shown to our table. The table was right next to the kitchen so you could hear all the clanging from the glasses pots & pans, big no no.qe asked to be moved which Ashes did accommodate. But when we moved we noticed other couples going through the exact same motions. They would get sat next to the kitchen only to ask the waiter t move them. Therefore waiters would know that table would get complaints & still ait customers there....weird right? We ordered some sparkling water but was served still water. The bottle said sparkling but the contents were still. We sat down on our new table & ordered some Tequila based martinis , I watched the drinks get made only for them to be sat there for 10 mins until someone finally brought them to our table. When we asked the waitress what the drinks were she didn't know...?? Kinda scary considering allergies & all We ordered an appetiser and a mixed grill The appetiser took a while to come out & was not anything like it looked on the menu, it was very dry & lacking in freshness. After another long wait, we received our mixed platter , chicken lamb samosa , potatoe tikki, prawns. Taste was ok but looked - felt like it had been hanging around the pass before it was served to us. The freshest part of the meal was the naan bread. We ordered some more drinks again, just for them to be sat there forever until someone brought them, again I watched them being made only to be sat there for 5-10 mins before being served to us FTR, will not be going back A real lack of urgency, mediocre Indian food & ZERO service to customers. Ashas is not fine dining but charges like it, shame really better service required

Eating at Asha's is a lovely experience. We have been twice, including most recently on Saturday night. The food was excellent, and so was the service. The only reason for slightly less than the highest rating for service was that it took some time to get the bill after we had requested it. By the same token, we weren't rushed at out table which is a good thing. We would wholly recommend Asha's.
