Bienvenue au restaurant Ascari Enoteca, où ils sont passionnés de nourriture, de vin et de course. C’est pour cela que l’établissement a été nommé Ascari Enoteca en hommage à une légende italienne du monde de la course de 1950, Alberto Ascari. Il était aussi célèbre pour son appétit pour la nourriture et le vin comme il était pour son talent pour la course, ce qui lui a valu le surnom de « ciccio » - terme italien pour « jouflu ». Vous trouverez ici des pâtes fraîches préparées maison chaque jour, ainsi qu'une unique liste de vin.

They try too hard and add things to the pasta that are not authentically Italian. Eataly is more authentic, better/tastier, and cheaper.

Ascari was hopping on a Monday night which is just what we were looking for. The service was excellent and the food was great. The Carne Crudo was a standout. The pastas were excellent. The Broccolini Fritty had too much breading and would have benefitted with a dip. I would recommend grilled calamari versus Fritty would give diners more variety. The Brocollini and Calamari were too similar.

Ascari is our favourite Italian restaurant in the city! Incredibly delicious food, top notch personal service (thank you Patrick!!) and great wine choices. Highly recommend!!

As always great food and service. One of my favourite places in the East End. Cool and casual vibe. Love it.

Always the best experience dining here — Ascari Enoteca has been my fave Italian spot in the city and there has yet to be a restaurant that can take its place!

Everything was great at Ascari as usual. The Cacio e Pepe Arancini balls and the calamari were amazing. Service was great and the apps came in minutes. The carbonara was not our favourite this time around as it was a bit too salty and the noodles were just average. We order carbonara everytime we go and it was still very good. We will be back again as usual

Genuinely unimpressed. Like many these days, we don't eat out a lot because it is expensive. This was a special moment for our family. Waiter was pompous and actually declined to take my order until I followed his 'rule's, meaning order drinks first and then food. I was fully taken aback at being schooled on how to order my meal. Seemed unnecessary to discipline people on the 'correct' way to order at a restaurant. Immediately we were not comfortable. He was unctuous and oddly superior at the same time. Food was way too salty. Calamari disappointing and the noise level is cafeteria grade noise. But all this is actually not the important thing for me or those at our table. The part that mattered was we didn't feel welcome and it was awkward to have this waiter hover and yet dismiss at the same time. Everyone commented and low key soured the night. Its the simple things that you take away from a restaurant visit, the human things. Bill was approx $300. Not going back.

Amazing food and service. We had the brocollini, aranchini, spaghetti pomo and tagliatelle which were all amazing. Good amount of food and great value!
