After many enjoyable visits, this one was very disappointing. Service - extremely slow Food - tasty, but room temperature - not hot Noise level - made conversation difficult

My wife and I have gone to Arturo’s on our last two anniversary’s and have always had the best food and service.

I had the Tuscany ribeye which was delicious and large, 20 oz. My wife had the porkchop which she enjoyed very much. Our drinks were great as well. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated top notch by the staff. I recommend this great restaurant to all! My only regret is that having lived less than a mile from the restaurant for over 30 years, we had never been. We'll be back.

There is absolutely no curb appeal to Arturo's, but once inside, it is a different story. The space is comfortable. Tables have nice spacing. You do not feel like you are dining with nearby patrons. Don't know if our server/kitchen was having an off night, but the dishes our party of 3 ordered took significantly more time to arrive than those around us (a couple of tables that were seated after us received their appetizers and entrees before us). The portions are generous, which is good because the prices for a number of options are above average. The food was fine, but not memorable. I ordered the shrimp risotto. It was pricey (>$45), and it was loaded with shrimp, but lacked seasoning. I disliked the special artichoke appetizer. My family members thought their dishes were okay (grilled calamari, crab pasta, and veal chop), but again, we hoped for better. The hit of the night was my husband's salad.

We always enjoy our meals at Arturo’s, especially any fish entree. Last night we had two specials: swordfish and tuna. Both were exquisite. The tuna melted in my mouth and the swordfish was perfectly done and flavorful. The wine selection is wonderful, the chocolate mousse with berries was delicious and our server — Adonis — was helpful and attentive. Arturo’s is a gem and a long-time favorite.

The food at Arturo’s is extraordinary as is the service. The cosmos we had before dinner were superb and the calamari appetizer was outstanding. Fresh with a spectacular flavor profile —absolutely delicious. Two of us enjoyed the caesar salad — it was a bit overdressed for my taste but otherwise a solid caesar. My husband said that his branzino dish with crab was the best branzino he has ever had. He found a new favorite for sure. My friend ordered the shrimp francese which she thought would come over pasta but which instead came with potatoes and the vegetable —she mentioned she misread and thought it would come with pasta and the server brought her a side of linguine to accommodate her. two of us had pasta dishes — pappardelle cinghiale and fettuccine amatriciana. both were delicious and plentiful and we took home leftovers for another pasta dinner.
