We had high hopes for some great Italian food and wonderful atmosphere. The high ratings gave us every indication that it was going to be a great evening. Upon entering the restaurant we were great with luke warm hello. The hostess sat immediately although we arrived early. We waited a bit for the waiter but I believe he was the only one working the area we were in. Tables are a bit close or the music wasn’t loud enough as were heard conversations from other tables. We ordered a Cesar salad which was just ok. I ordered the Ragu and my husband the filet. My dish as lacking flavor. My husband was satisfied with his although overcooked a bit. We ordered dessert but it didn’t come. We both had drinks. When the bill came we were shocked as my husbands cocktail was $38 for one margarita and he had two (yikes!!!). We reminded the waiter that we didn’t get the dessert so he comp’d us dessert and apologized. We also let him know how we felt about the cocktail price. He was very apologetic. The best think about this restaurant was the service. For the price the food should have been better. Doubt we’ll return Sadly!

It was my first time here and we felt very welcome. The staff and owner were very attentive and nice. Everyone went above and beyond for us. Will be back.

this is a hidden gem to find. An enjoyable place with food and service that are top notch. Always ask for the off menu items, you might be surprised.

This is our go-to for the best Italian food in the Baltimore-Washington area! It did not disappoint! The food was expertly prepared, beautiful, and delicious. The services was excellent.

As always, the food was superb and the service was outstanding. The four of us shared several appetizers which were new to the menu and all were exceptional!! My wife and I both ordered the salmon as entrees and my niece had the swordfish. We all agreed that Arturo’s selection of fish and the quality of of the dishes was superior to any other restaurant we knew of. It’s just an amazing place to eat!
