One of the prettiest and long-lived restaurants in Boca Raton, Arturo's (featuring Northern Italian fare) is owned and run by consummate restaurateurs Vincenzo and Rosaria Gismondi. Their tuxedo-clad staff are attentive and friendly, and do their best to inform you about, and not just serve, the excellent food.
Arturo's has a number of distinctive and attractive features. The antipasti trolley is filled with a mammoth selection of traditional Italian dishes (don't picture the usual salads - we have enjoyed crab dishes, pastas, stone crabs, grilled eggplant, layered pastries stuffed with veggies and cheeses, smoked salmon, etc). It is marvelous, and, at a very reasonable cost, a terrific way to dine. Due to market fluctuations, some dishes may be priced separately, so be sure to ask if anything on the trolley is not included in the one price given. Entrees are also wonderful. The Dover sole is something to behold, the meats are tender and perfectly prepared in many ways.

We had to wait a while for a waiter to take our drink order and give us a menu. Then, a server took our order and didn’t understand my wine order request. After that our waitress came by and she was great. Our table was right by the entrance to the piano room but unfortunately could not hear anything. Our first time there so we didn’t know to request that room. The food and drinks were great though. We really enjoyed the place and hope to return soon.

Arturo's food was delicious. The room was moderate to noises the later it went with piano and singer trying to play over conversations. They succeeded. Low background musics would have been fine for us since we were with our son and having great conversation but interrupted by the volume. The music was good. The volume was not. We had an excellent bottle of wine and as I said the food was really good. However--it took an hour and 20 minutes to receive the main course. We ate and finished and sat with little attention. We were celebrating our 35th anniversary and they brought us a slice of chic mousse cake to share. Inscribed in the side was "happy birthday", not anniversary. Meanwhile they had sung happy birthday too others and happy anniversary too. We were the farthest table from the music and it was still too loud. Great tunes though. Total table time was 2 hours and 33 minutes. We did not have apps, or dessert save the mousse cake that we would have passed on. Only salads and the main course. Then I had to flag down the asst waiter to get the check. So.....C+ to B- FYI--I am 71 and the crowd was significantly older for the 6 PM seating. Looked like a fun bar and we might have had an after dinner drink but was packed. Italian wine list offerings is fabulous. Doubt we will return. Too many other more pleasurable opportunities.

I posted a review expressing my first impression of Arturo’s some time ago. My first impression was overwhelmingly positive and, perhaps unsurprisingly given the longevity of the institution that Arturo’s truly is, I can emphatically state that every visit since my first one has met or exceeded expectations. Merely reiterating over and over again how excellent and unparalleled the food and service are is inadequate to truly convey all that Arturo’s represents. It is first and foremost a family affair, which is evident in all aspects of the Arturo’s experience. The family runs it, is proud of its quality and oversees each and every detail. This is important because it separates Arturo’s from, and elevates it above, every other restaurant in Boca. Last night we were treated to excellent entertainment from Gino and several others, enjoyed (of course) delectable cuisine, and probably the best wine cellar in Florida but, most importantly, what we experienced was the ineffable and inimitable spirit of what really is a community of like-minded appreciators of fine food, great wine and conviviality. From Lou in the bar, from Paolo and Hillary in the dining room you receive incredible service but you also just cannot help interacting with the Arturo’s family, both the ones actually related to Arturo, and Arturo’s patrons who are basically extended family and treated as such. If you are in Boca and fail to visit Arturo’s then I truly feel sorry for you!

We celebrated my dad’s 83rd birthday and everything was spectacular from the food, to the entire wait staff to the entertainment. Geno and Josephine were amazing. My dad at a wonderful evening. Thank you to everyone at Arturo’s!

Arturo’s is one of our go to restaurants. Good is always excellent. Service can be spotty at times. Wait staff on the old school side. One knock is there is always an extra charge on the bill for something we didn’t have. This has happened 4 times now. So check your bill. Lou and his wife are great bartenders and we always enjoy a drink prior to dinner at the bar. Definitely worth a visit.

My fettuccini bolognese was huge and delicious as was my husband’s veal saltimbocca. My mother, however, complained that her chicken marsala was too watery.
