Artu was founded on the most basic Italian technique, great ingredients, simply prepared, that is what Artu is all about.

In February of 1992 Artu opened its doors to the world, starting with outstanding sandwiches and mouth watering roasted meats, we continued to evolve and grow. Since then we have steadily added to our repertoire. From those sandwiches and roasted meats, we have produced old-world comfort food dishes to current interpretations of those classics that still make the most discerning eater reminisce of their childhood.

    Meatballs and calamari were tens. Delicious. Entrees were all just ok. Drinks delicious. Biggest complaint was the pasta was clearly not homemade- from a box, overcooked and watery.

    Great experience. Walked in with a reservation, was sat immediately. The waitress was attentive and very nice. Food was delicious. Wouldn’t change a thing about the night!!!

    Saturday lunch with friends. The food was exceptional and the wait staff friendly. The dining space was comfortable and spacious. The mussels and calamari were great. Enjoy

    We recently dined at Artu and were extremely satisfied with the quality and variety of food as well as a great wine selection. Our waitress Nicole was superb and I would highly recommend her and eating at Artu.

    Jackson was a great waiter; we live in the neighborhood and Artu is one of our go to spots in NE.

    Food was excellent. Hand cut pasta was a highlight for sure! Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, a true professional. I ordered the Carbonara and thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. I prefer my Carbonara a bit more on the creamy side than how it was prepared, but the flavors were still there. Definitely recommend!

    We shared the special lobster ravioli and the tortellini Artu. The ravioli were big and had big pieces of lobster. It came with scallops and shrimp that were cooked perfectly. The pasta has a creamy mascarpone sauce with mushrooms, little cheese tortellini and porchetta. It was a Saturday night so they were packed and there was a big party near us so it was very noisy. The hostess stand is through the bar.

    Disappointing! The bar music is so obnoxiously loud that we couldn’t hear our server or talk to each other, even though we were in the next room. It doesn’t help that you have to walk through the crowded bar to get to the host stand. The bar is so narrow and no one would move out of the way to get by. The food is decent, but not worth the headache we all had by the time we left. Will never go back!
