We had reservations for 6 at 7 pm. Waited 10 minutes at the entrance to be greeted by the host to show our table. Same thing happened with our friends who had to wait a long time for someone to attend to them. I don't understand why we needed to wait for so long when we had reservations. We were seated and luckily we were busy talking to each other because you could tell they were obviously short staffed - not enough servers or front of the house staff on the busiest time of the week which is Saturday dinner service. We finally ordered our food only to wait 1.5 hours for our food. Finally the food came, I ordered the mushroom fettuccine with add-on chicken. The flavour was good but the pasta was not al dented - overcooked like other reviews on Google. Add on chicken was $10, which was fine but I expected a full size chicken breast or something not only chopped up small pieces few pieces in the pasta. Mushroom fettuccine and there were just couple of small bits mushrooms. Finally dessert time came, was excited to try the tiramisu all night, even I was thinking about it before ordering anything. They had ran out all desserts except the gelato, again, on a Saturday busy night. We had a great time talking to each other but definitely would not come again. Too many other good Italian restaurants to give this a second chance. On the other hand, ambience was ok - family Italian vibe. Servers were nice , not their fault that they were not enough people working. Not enough employees front or back of the house shows the lack of care for customers.

I have been going to Arriva well over 40 years. The food is delicious and the prices are more than reasonable. Arriva remains one of my go to favourites

The servers at Arriva are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is charming and cozy. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious!

As usual, great food and service. Prices are on par so, no surprises there. Certainly our favourite Italian fare.

Arriva was a great experience! A very nice, attentive waiter, gave us all the info we needed and the time to enjoy conversation, even after we are done with our desert. Food was really good. And their tiramisu is outstanding! Apparently made by owner's wife, so delicate, not heavy at all. The ambiance was very nice. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome dinner for my partners birthday. The staff are always friendly and very knowledgable about wine a great experience all around.

Honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Vancouver, food was not good especially compared to the price and also 12 mussels for a 20$ appetizer, what a joke, portions for an appetizer pasta compared to a main, appetizer seemed bigger which was cheaper… and the saffron rice that comes with the ossobucco milanese was the worst I’ve ever had

The best restaurant experience! It was a delight to be served by a completely professional team. Not just the server, who was amazing, but everyone was superb. The industry has been watered down over the years but not here. Fantastic! The food was terrific and the atmosphere, perfect! Outstanding!
