The food was very good but a bit pricey. Our server was excellent and we were seated in one of the little alcoves making it very easy to have a conversation. Our waitress was very attentive and kind.

Celebrated our anniversary yesterday. Annie Gunn's food and service was outstanding. Alex our waiter was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone celebrating a special day.

Hog Chop and Striploin, both ordered medium rare, came out cooked through to fully grey/brown. The strip loin was sliced so it was clear from just looking at the plate there was an issue, which raises the question on whether the kitchen is paying attention to consistency and quality. The staff were embarrassed when we pointed it out and immediately agreed they were not cooked well. It was nice they took them off the check, but it did take 15+ minutes to get new ones out as others at our table already had their food. Maybe it was an off night, but for the price and notoriety of this establishment, it didn’t live out to expectations on our visit. The other entrees were a 6oz filet and a French Dip, both were very good, so at least half of the entrees delivered!

Service and food were fabulous as we expected. We left STL three years ago and make this a destination anytime we are back in the area. It did not disappoint!

Service was outstanding. Strip steak excellent and well prepared as requested. Fresh catch miro fish with Asian persuasion Cole slaw was excellent with great flavor. Very enjoyable evening.
