Consistently great food and service. One of the best restaurants in the St. Louis area. We had exceptional and professional service from our server Leslie. I highly recommend this establishment. It is no secret on why they are always busy

Annie Gunn’s Restaurant is consistently good. Great food because they use great ingredients. Great service because they not only recognize diners fund their business, but it’s one of the most important components to consider for retaining and receiving new diners. Word of mouth advertising from satisfied customers is cost effective. Great value for diners who look for consistency. It can be loud in the dining room as the bar is center of the room. The beautiful new patio is likely less noisy, but that seems to be reserved for larger groups and events. We’ve not been offered a table there for a couple of years now. We dine early to escape the noise. Ambiance is tasteful, but dark due to low lighting and windows that remain shuttered. Reminiscent of well - a pub and supper club. Younger diners might not appreciate that. Annie Gunn’s is one of the St. Louis Metro’s best dining options, in our experience.

My wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary. We had a wonderful time and a delicious meal. Our server was Alex and he did a fantastic job and his presentation was a delight. Will be back!

We went for lunch. Frankie was our waiter, he was wonderful! Next time we go at lunchtime , I will request him. Annie Gunn’s menu is terrific, lots of interesting choices and several great specials. Save room for dessert! We think Annie Gunn’s is among the best restaurants in the St. Louis area. Annie Gunn’s Marketplace, next door, is also not to be missed. One question, where do they find all their lovely, kind, polite, hospitable employees?

After returning from summer traveling, I marveled at the dining excellence that can be found locally at Annie Gunn’s. From the excellent staff,beautiful decor and exquisite food. We dined there for lunch. From the fresh and briny oysters on the half shell to the cinnamon ice cream topped apple pie; everything was superb. The patty melt was juicy and flavorful. The fish special of fried lobster was delicious and came with fries and tomatoes. I was able to have mashed potatoes as a substitute and paid extra for green beans (totally worth it as the vegetables here are always well prepared). Last but not least was the excellent service by our server Tyler who always elevates the experience.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Andy took excellent care of us. He was knowledgeable, personable and professional. Same goes for the rest of the staff who came by our table to check on us throughout dinner. The peach and prosciutto appetizer was to die for and our steaks were cooked to perfection. Can't wait to come back and we will definiteley ask for Andy. Thank you all for a wonderful night!!!
