L'Anna Maria Pasteria vous propose un mélange entre la cuisine italienne moderne et traditionnelle, dans un cadre confortable qui bénéficie depuis longtemps d'une notoriété locale. Les soeurs Anna et Maria, originaires de la région de Basilicate, dans le sud de l'Italie, ont ouvert les portes de l'Anna Maria Pasteria en 1989. Commençant à 7 ans, Anna est tombée sous le charme de la cuisine, en créant son premier plat de pasta e fagioli, un met simple paysan qui est maintenant une spécialité italienne. Maria, éprise de la cuisine et du sens de l'hospitalité, a quant à elle perpétué la tradition familiale en préparant avec tout son coeur le meilleur et le plus céleste tiramisu. Presque 2 décennies plus tard, Anna et Maria continuent à se consacrer à la cuisine italienne et au service haut de gamme maison. Chaque plat est préparé avec les ingrédients les plus frais et de première qualité.

Solid neighborhood Italian restaurant. Very enjoyable evening. If we lived here, it would be a go to for us.

Been meaning to try this place for awhile, and then absolutely had to after the tragic car-through-their-window incident. The food was sooo good! And everyone who works there is invested in the restaurant's continued success. So glad we went!

The food is always delicious. The marinara sauce is excellent. The kidney bean and jalapeño soup was delicious. The service as always was wonderful.

The food was excellent, the service was average at best. We were in a semi private room but the dish bins were by our table and the bus people would literally throw the dishes in the bins with no regard to dinner guests sitting there, We were also by an iPad or phone system that literally beeped all night. I would come back for the food but request to sit somewhere else!

We arrived at 430 for a pre-Cubs game meal. We started off with cocktails, a Makers Manhattan and a French Martini. Both were excellent. We had the navy bean and escarole soup which was hearty and warm on a cold evening. We then had the burrata which was wonderful. We both had pastas. I had the special linguini with shrimp and broccoli in a wine sauce and my wife had farfalle with mushrooms and peas. Both were generous portions. We had a wonderful bottle of white wine from Sardinia. For dessert I had vanilla gelato and my wife had the tiramisu. We were there an hour and a half. The meal was well paced. There is a 10% discount if you pay cash. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great pasta and one of the best tiramisus in the city. Ambience is real old world charm and the wait team is very friendly.

The meal was very good. The servers are very attentive too. The meals had a bit different tastes than what we were accustomed to for Italian food, but it was all very good.
