Añejo Cantina & Grill has a full service bar and lounge area that features live Latin music on Fridays and Saturdays. Whether you're dining in indoors or outdoors we have you covered. Not to mention, we have the best happy hour in the valley with extensive menu options as well as vegetarian options. The indoor lounge gives our customers a place to relax with one of our hand crafted cocktails or a glass of wine from our carefully selected wine list.

Our banquet room is an extension of our dining program. It features a menu of both artful impression and traditional Mexican dishes, accommodating up to 180 guests. Añejo offers an authentic and quality experience for any of your event needs.

Location of Anejo Cantina and Grill was great. On Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. Free parking in the back. The restaurant is located upstairs with a view over the boulevard. Service was great our party of four started in the lounge for drinks. Great atmosphere and drinks. We were seated in the outdoor patio for dinner. My party ordered the Carnitas dinner and shrimp/steak fajitas. Appetizers bacon wrapped shrimp and Guacamole (not tableside). Guac was good, the bacon on the shrimp was a bit overcooked. The carnitas dinner were not very good, carnitas came as small pork steaks not shredded. Carnitas were bland rice was too wet and had no taste, beans were ok. The fajitas were good overall, however could use more seasoning. We ordered a side of habanero sauce to boost up the spice. Our visit was on Wed. 10/23/24. Enjoy!

The food was delicious! Been here twice and very delicious! Now the ambiance is low. Both times it’s been a bit empty. So if u want some good food this is the place for you! If you want to turn up it’s a lil dead.

Arrived for a 2 pm reservation. It was a warm day and it was definitely warm inside. They were pretty busy and the one busser and one waiter were working very hard. The restaurant was shortstaffed and that’s not their fault. We never got the appetizers we ordered, there was no ice for the water, and it took a very long time to get the food. One of our party ordered sea bass and it came out raw and g Had to be sent back. The food overall was tasty. Just wish it had been a better experience.

Awesome date night with great food. Service was slow. We got our Entrees before our appetizers. But overall was good and will definitely be going back.

Solid Mexican food Service was great. Let us sit and chat but was right on top of our needs! Drinks were great and well priced! Which is unusual for a location like this

Overall, I had a positive at Anejo this time, except that I had to insist to the host that he check me in on OpenTable. He initially said, "It doesn't matter." I had to tell him that it did matter to me, because I wanted to get points for keeping the reservation. After I insisted, he checked me in. I would have given them 4 stars if not for this snafu.

I would not go back to this restaurant, Unfortunately the service was not good, probably because they were busier than the usual since we went on Mothers Day Weekend, the food was bad, I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and zucchini, the steak was covered in rosemary, and had a lot of chewy fat bits, the vegetables were over seasoned and for dessert we had a flan covered in fudge and some whipped cream, wasn’t good either. Restrooms were dirty and old, we saw the singers performance and that was certainly entertaining, they did a good job. The ambiance is too loud and we weren’t able to have a conversation without raising our voice.
