Amuse is a seasonal, farm to table driven restaurant, located on the third floor of the museum. Whether you are dining in our main dining room, full-service bar, or our private dining room, you will be able to take in sweeping views of the Robins Sculpture Garden and the museum’s Cochrane Atrium. Our team works diligently to provide a menu that is directly inspired by the art-filled surroundings, current exhibitions, and seasonality while also carefully selecting only the finest ingredients from local vendors, artisans, and farmers. Just a friendly reminder that the museum does not allow balloons, confetti, glitter, plants potted with soil, and candles with open flames. If a date and time you seek for a reservation appears to be full, please give us a call so we can see what other times might be available.

Not up to the usual standards of food. My pork roast was dry and not well seasoned. The rest of the meal was OK.

A lovely room with a beautiful view of the museum’s grounds and a limited but delicious menu. Service is excellent.

First time dining here, and what a treat! Exceptional all around, but the food was the highlight! Every dish was excellent. Some of the best food we've had in Richmond?

I thought the food was too expensive. What we had was basically two small plates plus we shared French fries. No alcohol—just iced tea. Cost was $70.

I was bringing an out of town guest to Amuse for lunch. My selection couldn’t have been more perfect! My guest thought that the setting, the food, and the ambience were just fantastic. The service was impeccable! I was so proud to have chosen this particular restaurant. I’ve been there many times before, and I will continue to be a loyal patron!

Dessert was listed as peaches with cream. I believe it would’ve been more descriptive listed as cream and peaches, I.e., too much cream and light on the peaches.

Fantastic diner experience. Went on a Wednesday evening for the prix fixe meal and it did not disappoint. Can’t beat the atmosphere and views, rather!

Everything was perfect. The food was fresh, innovative & delicious. The service was very professional and efficient. And the location of the restaurant, with its big windows giving out to the sculpture garden, was relaxing and beautiful. We all enjoyed the brunch and we’ll be back.
