Amuse is a seasonal, farm to table driven restaurant, located on the third floor of the museum. Whether you are dining in our main dining room, full-service bar, or our private dining room, you will be able to take in sweeping views of the Robins Sculpture Garden and the museum’s Cochrane Atrium. Our team works diligently to provide a menu that is directly inspired by the art-filled surroundings, current exhibitions, and seasonality while also carefully selecting only the finest ingredients from local vendors, artisans, and farmers. Just a friendly reminder that the museum does not allow balloons, confetti, glitter, plants potted with soil, and candles with open flames. We would return again; overall great. just a few notes that the kitchen could address. Indeed the view is nice, if you are outside. otherwise we were disappointed with our setting; bland, out dated, and just not comfortable. Our server was polite and attentive; professional, kept things in order as we were on date day and not in any hurry. Our food server didn't take the time to explain the cheese plate, as it is not defined on the menu. I overheard the table nearby get a breakdown of it. A taste of wine offered is always a compliment to the client to ensure they are happy with it in any good restaurant. Portions were just right so that we could enjoy dessert as well. All well plated and served perfect temperature. Delicious! We had the halibut and shrimp platters. Again, overall great worth the time to reserve!

We enjoyed a late Sat afternoon lunch in this lovely setting. The “Samurai” exhibit was running and the museum and restaurant were crowded. Our entrees, halibut and scallops, were superb and Japanese-influenced, as described. Good wines by the glass. Carrot salad and desserts were pretty good, but not up to the level of our entrees. We will definitely go back.

As always, the appetizer, entrees, and desserts were delicious, not the "usual" fare, and artistically presented. (We were, after all, in an art museum!) Amuse has such a great vibe, with friendly servers, a spacious and open setting, and a lovely view. One of my favorite places to take friends for a special luncheon.

Great ambience, food, and service. Amuse provides a consistently delicious and visually delightful experience. They were featuring items inspired by the Samurai exhibit, and the chicken thighs and scallops were nice recommendations from our server. The peaches and cream dessert was a lovely way to finish the meal.

The menu was based on the Samirai exhibit with a wide variety of choices. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
