Horrible attitude from the manager (the middle aged man). No explanations of the dishes when we asked about the contents and size. Slow service. Mediocre food - horrible value. Note: Rice and naan separate. $7 for plain white basmati rice.

Ambiyan in Unionville is our go to for Indian Food. It’s a nice place on Main street Unionville and right across from the bandshell for the Markham Jazz festival. We got a great table on the covered patio and listened to a great jazz band. Food was great as usual and the service is always top notch. We highly recommend Ambiyan.

Our waiter was terrific! Leon helped us order all our dishes and ensured the there would be no spice and no gluten in anything we ate as we had 2 gluten free & 1 celiac guests with us. Very friendly and made our luncheon memorable and enjoyable. The food was delicious!!

We met our friends from out of town for lunch and it was a perfect day for lunch on the patio! The lunch specials never disappoint and the service was attentive and helpful. The staff at Unionville is great and Liam and the rest of the team really make us feel welcome. Shout out to the chef and the rest of the crew!

We had a 630pm reservation on a Friday night. We got seated quickly. The staff were pretty friendly. Service was lacking. After we ordered, we waited a long time. When we followed up with staff about 45mins after we ordered, they said they were just really busy that night. However, the table next to us that got seated AFTER we ordered, got their food before us. Obviously our order got lost or something. We followed up with staff again. Then we managed to get our food after the 2nd follow up and after noticeable errors given other tables who arrived and ordered after us were getting food ahead of us. Took more than an hour after we ordered for the food to arrive. The patio area in unionville was nice. And the food was just ok.

Absolutely amazing food. Very deferent than any other Indian restaurant. Must visit. A walk in Unionville after food is very nice.
