unique dishes and drinks in a quaint basement layout. Short staffed service team was a negative, and you have to be very open to trying different foods to enjoy this restaurant

It was my second time eating here and it’s always a great dinner. I can’t recommend this place enough. I will always eat here when in Savannah.

The food was absolutely astonishing. My fiancé and I had the specials for that night that consisted of venison and tile fish that was out this world delicious. The ambience was Dark and lulling and the service was phenomenal. The waitress was professional and remembered the menu from front to back. Will be revisiting!

Unique and delicious food, care and attention by the staff, amazing…. In fact, the manager chased us down the street with a cell phone left behind.

Fantastic experience! We tried Alligator Soul a few years back and made it a point to get a reservation in advance for our next Savannah trip (last time I tired booking last minute and they had no availability which is not surprising for how great this place is). Samantha was our server and she was wonderful!!! Very attentive and was so fun interacting with her. The drinks, the food, the service - everything was top notch and I cant wait till the next time I’m here!

Fine dining in a casual setting. The food and service were excellent! Our servers knowledgeable and friendly and both just happened to be originally from our area. We look forward to visiting again.

Alligator Soul was spectacular from beginning to end. Paige & team provided outstanding service. The cocktails & every morsel of food we put in our mouths were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere + stories about flickering lights being caused by the visiting spirit of the original chef made the ambiance that much better! We loved the candied gator & rabbit-python sausage on the carver platter. Gator chorizo mac & cheese ruined us from all other mac for the rest of the trip - it was perfection. Bison special entree was to die for! And of course the beignets. Divine!! This is a spot we will visit every single time we’re in Savannah (this was #2).

I had a fantastic time! Our server was very professional and informative while showing us some of his favorite menu items. He was also able to help to create a very personable experience while helping us figure out what to do while in Savannah. The food was fantastic everything was full of flavor and all so unique so that you were able to enjoy each coarse in it's own unique way.
