    Scallops were outstanding. Found the gumbo to be a wee bit spicy. Service excellent but too fast. Felt we were rushed a bit which is too bad in such an expensive restaurant.

    The service and ambience was great, but the food was just ok. We had the alligator bites as an app. They were described as „tastes like fried chicken“ but they were really chewy. My halibut was average and was served over a succotash with cucumber and pepper- two flavors I do not like. Not their fault but not to my liking. My husband‘s crab/alligator cake was excellent! We enjoyed the beverages but skipped dessert. Nothing looked good enough to spend another $20 on. As for value, we paid a lot for service and atmosphere (once you go down the dark staircase the space itself was lovely).

    Amazing dining experience, the chef knows how to prepare a perfect Game with the perfect sauce etc. all food from sides to appetizers were delicious and worth the price. Excellent service and very nice place, nothing can go wrong dining here!

    An amazing splurge date night for my boyfriend and I! This was our first exposure to super exotic and "fancier" foods, so we really took advantage of it, and everything tasted amazing! Our server, Christine, was also very nice and made us feel comfortable!

    Food was all very good. Drinks were sub par but dessert was delicious and staff were friendly. A little pricey for the portion sizes and quality but would consider returning next trip!

    The evening started off poorly. The host and manager of the restaurant insisted on seating us within the bar area, despite numerous tables being available in the two separate dining areas (and remained open throughout the evening). We had dressed business casual, so it wasn't a matter of us not looking appropriate for a dining experience. We wanted to be seated in the dining areas, as the bar was noisy and heavily trafficked. We did see a few people get seated sporadically, within the dining areas, but they seemed to be known to the front of house. Our server, Ashley, was very good. We were not thrilled with having to place all our orders (appetizers, salads and entrees) at once, but Ashley held true to her promise to stage the dishes so they weren't overlapping in delivery. The food ranged from decent to mediocre. The frogs' legs were cooked well, but seasoned quite heavily (too much so). The jalapeno poppers were okay, although the promised chorizo was difficult to find; we've had much better elsewhere. The alligator crab cakes were good, as was the daily "exotic" meal (kangaroo). The wine list was uninspiring, especially the Reserve Wines. In summary, there are too many excellent restaurants within a stone's throw that can outdo this place.

    Our experience was absolutely phenomenal. We were celebrating my sister‘s birthday, and we were greeted with a beautiful card and at the end of the meal, some gorgeous pralines, to celebrate the occasion. Our server, Sara, was exceptional and was patient with our asking many questions about the very Fun and interesting menu. A top-notch experience! Would definitely recommend to any visitor to Savannah. PS -we got adventurous and loved the charcuterie platter with the candied alligator and black ants, and the alligators/crabcake was phenomenal. Highly recommend… Oh, and the bread that they make in house was to die for.
